Notepad Padding Compound - 2oz - Custom Colors (Red)

This product works exactly as advertised! I can buy scads of 3x5 cards at a local thrift store for 30 cents/100 or more. I use binder clips to hold a stack firmly together and paint a thin film of this adhesive on one edge. It dries very quickly and I end up with wonderful, inexpensive note pads/scratch pads. Any scrap paper would work!

I am reusing lots of one-side pages, including some really old printed and copied material from school. I have made a few notepads, totaling about 500 letter size sheets. Used between 2 and 4 layers of the compound on each notepad and still have about half (1oz) of the compound left. The glue keeps the pages together, but it is easy to separate single pages or blocks of pages. Good product.

You won't really need a lot of this compound, maybe one or two swipes using a popsicle stick to create a notepad, but I wish it came in a bigger bottle because it is quite expensive and I don't know that I got the most value for my money. Overall it works well though and dries quickly (>1 hour), especially if you do only one or two layers. I use binder clips to hold the papers in place as the compound dries. Also, it is pink rather than red.

I used this to make notepads for my mom for Christmas. We could never find the glue top, colored paper, not three hole punched lined paper pads she wanted. After looking for years, this year I decided to make them. This is so easy and quick! It wasn't a messy product and was thick enough that it didn't drip like I expected. I plan on making many more and I love that it comes in lots of different colors!
