This book was fun and inspiring to read. I didn’t realize how many barriers Tess overcame in her life, and I was amazed that even when she started becoming Instagram/ Tumblr famous she still wasn’t rich like I imagined. Knowing that Tess, at present, ended her relationship with Nick and her revelation that she went through abuse, made reading about their relationship struggles tough. Tess inspires me and her story shows that any of us can succeed and be a voice for good.

Als ich den Klappentext des Buches gelesen habe dachte ich in erster Linie es würde sich um eine Art Body-Positivity-Buch handeln und war dann leicht entäuscht als ich rausfand, dass es nur Tess‘ Autobiografie ist. Aber trotzdem habe ich angefangen zu lesen und war schon nach kurzer Zeit total gefesselt: es ist unglaublich was diese Frau durchmachen musste um am Ende da zu sein wo sie jetzt ist. Man muss kein englischer Muttersprachler sein um das Buch zu verstehen, das Englisch ist einfach und selbst wenn mal ein Wort dabei ist das man nicht versteht, kann man das schnell nachschlagen. Insgesamt ist es ein Buch das Mut macht und wem würde ein bisschen mehr Mut schon Schäden? Unbedingt lesen!!

I got this book as a xmas gift from my husband. I couldn't put it down once I picked it up. Having followed Tess on social media over the last few years, I feel like I know her. She spoke to me as a friend through her book. Aside from being incredibly relatable, she is a great storyteller. If you've ever faced challenges in life and came out on the other side, read this book. If you've ever been faced with bullying, a challenging family life, mental health or if you've loved someone that suffers from mental health issues, read this book. You won't regret it and you may learn something about someone that's different from you and, better yet, you may learn something about yourself.

Super bem escrito e com uma história e mensagem positiva a passar, de forma a melhorar a autoestima de muitas pessoas

This is my favorite book. It offers a lot of insight about Tess' life as well as life advice. It arrived much sooner than anticipated as well, which I liked. I haven't put this book down. Definitely a must read!
