Q: I've had this applied at a spa, but how do I apply this at home? Should I mix it with anything or follow it up with specific product on normal skin?

It came with a little spatula, no need to mix with anything. My skin is sensitive so usually is a bit red after but goes away after a couple of min.

Q: Is it (2 Ounce size) Refining 20% peel or Refining 5% peel? .

I bought this product because I was familiar with the Eminence product line from previous spa sessions. I am going to say that this only has 5% acid peel because higher grades are usually only available in the spa's or doctors offices. (But in a moment I will re-address this subject.) The peel is nice. When you do apply it on clean skin it does give a small amount of burning sensation and that is OK. After rinsing it off it does leave you with soft glowing skin. I have to say that I don't use it any more as I use other products that I prefer more. What I use is 5% retinol Glo Therapeutics or 1% SkinCeuticals. With the 1% I mix it with nice night cream as 1% retinol is the most concentrated on the general market that I have seen. I don't use retinol at all during the summer time but use it every other night in the Fall and Winter. I am 52 and I have no wrinkles and hardly any brown spots, which is in my genetics. I have been using good quality products since I turned 45 and I think this has helped with fighting the aging process. Also, just applying a moisture tint has helped a lot with keeping moisture to my face. Personally, I love Dr. Dennis Gross' product line. I use the peel pads the 'Extreme" and the moisture tints. Also, SkinCeuticals B5 and PHLORETIN CF are great products. Amazon usually has the best pricing.

Q: How often can or should it be used?

Not sure. I used it 1-2 times a week with no problems.

Q: Can this be used in the under eye area?

I would say no because it actually feels hot on your skin. It works very well but since the undereye area is usually extra sensitive, it’s beyter not to put it there.
