Tumbo Xtreme Trolley - Anti-Shock Aerial Dog Runner - Heavy Duty Pulley System - Best Backyard Zipline - 100ft / 150ft / 200ft

This product is well thought out and includes everything you need. I was afraid that the zip line would droop but it is tight and functioning great! We got the 150ft kit and used about 125 ft of line across the back yard for our 10 m old Doberman (65lbs). The line offers him independence while he boundary trains. Our older dog is already trained to stay in the yard but has also gained independence because she can step outside of the puppy’s allowable reach to get a little peace and quiet. Something she hasn’t had much of since we took in the puppy. Get product worth every dime. Looks like it will last and I hope it does. I also hope this product is available for years to come. Big win on this one.

This WORKS for real, It changed my backyard experience with Ava to a feeling of comfort when she is out in the yard roaming instead of stress. I just moved from a home with a fenced in yard and until we can fence this home in the Tumbo is a new fixture. But then there is travel and camping! It was so easy to install I can see taking it on road trips. The quality is excellent and the customer service is just as good. I am happy to find a well thought out dog safety product that has "heart" put into it - not the usual you find in big box stores. Thanks Tumbo Team - keep it up!!! Woof. Col and Ava

overall, well-designed product, thought went into it, especially like shock/spring system which gradually increases tension/pullback, does not snap back dog's neck, etc. - provides for a "soft landing". also like that you can easily unclip the included cable leash, etc.but, needs some simple DIY improvements. first, the washer at either end tend to slide down the cable and may then scrape the vinyl coating off the cable which happened to me in one small spot. easy fix is to add a small zip-tie around cable to hold each washer in place. second issue is the tensioner collapsed, bent, broke after used everyday with active 42 pound siberian husky for about two weeks. I replaced with a heavier duty version of the tensioner found here on Amazon:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0079GH2KO?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1and I am hopeful these two fixes will now provide more durability.if vendor included both items above, I would have given 5 stars

My rescue 110lb Shepherd gets free roam of the yard now, though I always walk with him, I now don't worry about him yanking my shoulder when he sees a squirrel run off!I installed this system ~14 months before these photos of my new replacement tether. The system has held up surprisingly well for being exposed to 100% direct sun year round in the south east united states. The only issue I have had was the elastic band to soften the jerk on doggo snapped. That plus the red sheathing being sun bleach indicates the UV is the only thing that phases this setup.Thanks for making a durable product Tumbo! Would love to see better UV resistance on the soft parts, otherwise, fantastic durability.

Had this installed in our back yard for our 50 lbs. Wheaten Terrier. This was to replace my "home-made" yard runner / trolley that was almost 3 years old and starting to show signs of wear and rust on the steal rachet. I splurged on the Extreme as I didn't want to cut any corners. I was not impressed with the lightweight appearance of the rachet, but it is made of aluminum and shouldn't rust. The wheeled trolley is nice and seems to work well. However, our dog had a good pull on the set up and the gear lock on the pulley completely bent and allowed the cable to unwind from the tensioner. This allowed the line to drop significantly and the trolley useless. Thankfully the cable bend in the cable kept the line from completely pulling out of the pully assembly. otherwise, our dog would have taken off and gotten away. I straighten out the lock as much as I could and retightened the ratchet (picture). I just contacted Trumbo about replacing the part. Will update review with their response. I am skeptical that a new one would fare much better. If you have a smaller dog or a passive dog that won't pull much the product is fine.

This actually is a replacement. The first one I purchased 3 years ago. But it is a Godsend. We have a jailbreaker whom absolutely refuses to stay contained. He's a crafty one. This trolly gave him his freedom to roam but also kept him safe in the yard. I didn't expect it to last forever so I knew eventually I'd have to replace it. It was easy to install and only took a few minutes. What failed after three years? First, the bungee chord that attaches to the trolly dry rotted and snapped. That was an easy work around. Clip the chord to the c clamp attached to the trolly. The next day the cable around the tree snapped. Not surprised, really. Jailbreak Gerald is pretty tough on that zip line. He's a big strong dog. Ordered the replacement and I got it overnight. This product works.

This product has amazing potential! I purchased this product in good faith, knowing it was going to give my puppy the range of motion she needed on a daily basis! It seemed it was the perfect product until a rabbit crossed her path, and she bolted! The leash came to a dead stop, at which point, she was hurled forcefully out the front end of the halter that was attached to the “Tumbo Extreme Trolley!” This system was only two months old when this happened! I found a damaged area on the plastic covered aerial line, which with enuf force caused the plastic to bunch up causing the accident that caused my puppy a great deal of pain! The trolley came to a standstill about 50’ from where she began to sprint which was enuf force for her to actually scream out in pain!I do not trust this product and have asked for a refund and was told it was out of its 30 day warranty with Amazon and then I was offered parts to fix the problem! Again I am saying I no longer trust this product and would like my money back!

Easy to install.

Perfect if you don't have a dog fence. The coil will straighten out over time. Our dog is a beagle X. A larger dog will straighten the coil quickly. It is easy to install and very sturdy
