Boston Shaker Set with Bar Mat, Cocktail Shaker Set - Bartender Kit, Perfect Bar Set for Home Bar with Essential Bar Tools

This set really pulls together our home bar and is easy to use and clean! I wash all the items by hand and haven't had any issues

I became passionate about bartending about six months ago and work as a bartender now. Having almost nothing required for the craft, this was the perfect start. With only 20$, you can start making cocktails immediately!Hundreds of hours of experience (professionally and privately) and research later, here’s a breakdown of each item:1. Shaking Tin Set:These on their own are worth the price. They seal great and come apart easier than a lot of other tins (even those that cost more than $20). In order to host birthdays at home with 15+ people, I needed at least one additional shaker for efficiency. I have used this set as the comparison for the sets I bought later. I ended up returning two different sets I bought because they cost more than this one and didn’t work as efficiently. Also, after many, many cocktails, it is still in amazing shape and looks beautiful.2. Jigger: Japanese-style jiggers are often used in bars and there’s a reason. I’m really happy this set included one. I love that there are 0.5 and 0.75 oz markings on the 1 oz side and a 1.5 oz marking on the 2 oz side. Sometimes I bring this jigger to work bc the engravings make me feel more confident as I whip together cocktails.3 & 4. Spoon and StrainerThey do their jobs. Eventually you’ll probably want an upgrade of both. Especially for strainers: a really tight coil is important. This strainer has an okay coil than some but it is worth investing later on in a more expensive one.5. Bar Mat: It was neat to discover the benefits of bar mats. I use this one now to let my shakers dry after they’re washed, while I use my other set to make another cocktail (and then swap). Unfortunately, my mat came bent and it still hasn’t straightened out, even with hot water. That’s why I deducted a star.

All you need for complete bar service.

Solid little shaker set. Good for practice or doing stuff at home. Not the same level as Barfly but for the money it’s unbeatable. If you want to casually make some cocktails at home this is where you need to be.

I've got a few sets and I like this the best. The shot glass is 1/2oz and not 1/1.5oz. Good or bad depending on if you like .5oz but we know what those people are called.

As a bartender, there is nothing I appreciate more than a Boston shaker fitting in just right, and not getting stuck or feeling like if I accidentally closed it wrong I will have to give it a good smack. Perfect for home use! Easy to clean, sturdy rubber mat. Good product overall, perfect for a gift!

Great bar basic!

The tins and jigger are excellent. The Hawthorne strainer is decent for a first one; not the greatest, but not bad at all. All products were flawless and perfectly functional. I've been using them for several months on a regular basis, and I see them lasting quite a long time (as far as I can tell). Also, the box is very nice, and it came with a foldout booklet of some of the more popular cocktails to start. Overall perfect. I don't think I can give this Boston shaker set less than a 5.

Item came very well packed with great packaging, and also included a very nice instruction pamphlet with a good selection of recipes to try. Tried it with a few cocktails and was very easy to clean. Will definitely repurchase for gifting!

Excelente calidad en los materiales, los vasos cierran perfecto y no hay derrames mientras el shake. El jigger tiene marcas internas para las cantidades y lleno es de 1 y 2 Oz. La cuchara bien y colador de oruga bien. El tapete escurridor un gran plus.
