Good way to save money if you're handy with electronics
A slightly obscure model of projector wouldn't lead me to the definitive lamp assembly replacement (why do all projector lamp replacement sites seem so generically tacky and full of adverts rather than focusing on selling me the expensive item I'm looking for?) so I took the gamble to purchase the lamp itself identified from the blown item and dismantled the whole assembly.Glad to say the process was successful and the projector restored to full working order.The lamp was supplied packed very well in both it's box and the amazon box which was assuring.

Worth the price
Replaced bulb to my Optoma hd141x projector that had blown. This is fully functioning, time will tell how long. Still cheaper than a new projector or directly from Optoma.
