eVogues Plus Size Lace Overlay Romper Dress

I decided to get this on a whim. I was originally shopping for a dress to wear to a wedding and saw a review where the girl looked STUNNING. I took a leap of faith and I was extremely satisfied. It's very hard to find a dress that's flattering because I am NOT plus sized model shaped but still plus sized or lack of a more gentle term, I am very fat. But this dress hid my body shape SO well. And to top it off I did NOT need ANY body slimmer/Spanx at all!!! It gave me a shape and was so liberating. I wore simple stockings. I loved how it looked on me so much that I actually didn't wear the dress I had originally bought for the wedding and wore this instead. I got so many compliments!There are two things that should be noted that may or may not be cons to someone else.-Its EXTREMELY short. It does have shorts to make up for that fact. It covers up *just* enough. I chased a 3 year old around and did not feel exposed because of the shorts and stocking that I ended up wearing also.-It is cleavage city in this dress. Be aware it's a very low cut but can easily be fixed with a cute bralette or modesty insert or even just a really good safety pin.OVERALL: This is an extremely flattering dress/romper thing. It boosted my confidence and was so comfortable regardless of how short the skirt is and how much cleavage I showed in it. I am definitely going to buy the other color options and will update my review with photos of those when I buy them.I typically wear size 16/18 in pants and 1/2x in dresses. I got this dress in a 3x and it fit perfectly

I'm in love! This might be my new favorite piece of clothing and outfit. It is pretty dang stretchy, the lace is thick but really accommodating, and the shorts are just excellent. I have a big butt lol and wide hips, a pear silhouette slimming down into an hourglass as I lose weight, and the shorts not only cover me appropriately but look good! With my thick thighs, my only complaint is that the shorts do roll up if I, say, crawl into bed roughly. That will change though once I lose more weight😆My romper is a size 12. I am grateful that I'll be able to wear it roughly down to technically about an 8-10, but I'll be devastated if it's ever too big for me. It's the total package in my opinion, and feels good enough that I could probably even dance ballet in it. In my opinion and experience, this piece gives actual dance wear a run for its money. I'm betting it'll stand up beautifully to summer and theme parks too!PLEASE, PLEASE MAKE THIS ROMPER IN A MULTITUDE OF COLORS AND SMALLER SIZES!!! I'LL BUY MANNY OF THEM!!! AMAZING FOR THE PRICE.

Shoutout to all the lovely ladies willing to post photos! The fact this romper looked amazing on every customer photo no matter their shape or size convinced me to buy this. I typically wear an XL top and size 12/14 dress. Indie Amazon brands make it hard to gauge sizing. If you have bigger arms or are quite busty I highly recommend you size up. The bottom has a bit more room.and stretch than the top. I decided to go for the 2X and it fit like a glove up top! I doubt I'd be able to get my arms and tits into the XL. There is NO stretch to the top so if you're more bottom heavy you can get away with ordering your regular clothes size. The bottom was a bit more roomy for me, but just made it look more like a dress than a romper.Make sure you love your legs, it's short! Like others have said the shorts are longer than the skirt flap, but it's still super cute! I'm buying every color soon to wear all summer. Its decent quality, I dont expect it to last me for years, but on a night out I got so many complimenta and it was freezing cold so I rocked it with boots and black pantyhose and it looked great! So many compliments and no one could believe I bought it on Amazon. I hope to see a white one soon!

I’m 5’4 194 pounds with an apple body shape. I got the black laced one. I ordered a XL. The fit was nice at first glance. It’s a fit and flare which flatters my shape. I was surprised to see that the back is completely see through. The shorts underneath were too big for my thighs. I ended up taking some pins and making it shorter.. there wasn’t really anything I could do about the back area, I mean, I could have worn a tank top but I felt like it took away from the look. I decided to wear a black belt with mine and it looked great! I do absolutely love the idea of shorts underneath. Overall, it’s nice for a night out.

Oh my goodness! This dress is perfect in every way and it really hides my apron belly! Absolutely not regretting this purchase!

This was very nice. The reason for my return and one star review is because the item was a little big and when I returned it, I received an email stating that I didn’t return it and that I was going to be recharged for the item.

This outfit is very cute & dressy. It fits very well! The only downside is it’s a little tight on the arms. For reference, I’m 5’3 290lbs and got a 3X. It hides the fupa & back rolls nicely too. The material is great quality as well, although the price is a bit steep.

I seldom take the time to write reviews for products but whew this one deserves it. I was hesitant because it was a romper and with a longer torso with some extra curve to it, I usually have a bad time with rompers and just end up hating the outfit and myself. Not so the case here! This is flattering AND comfortable. The lace on the sleeves isn't itchy, the skirt is nicely swishy, and the shorts underneath are perfect for making sure your booty doesn't fall out of the back when you bend over. Great illusion of a much shorter dress with all of the protection and coverage of a skort/romper. My only complaint is the midsection band doesn't go all the way around the middle. Easily fixed with a belt or something but honestly, this thing is so cute, I don't think I care. I'll probably buy the other colors/patterns too!
