I love the coat. It’s comfortable in high 30s low 40s. The two layers work well separately and come apart and together easily. The fleece has big wide open cuffs around the wrist. The shell has a hook and loop cuff that can snug up to the wrist very well. The pockets are deep mesh on the inside. Good for holding gloves or light weight cold weather gear.If you’re looking for conceal carry pockets, this ain’t the coat. But it is a pretty durable and effective coat.The fit of the XXL is perfect for me. I can wear a sweater under and still move. But I haven’t found a lot of need to do that. It fits perfectly with a t-shirt. No excessive bagging and not tight.

This is a wonderful jacket. The warmth and looks are top notch. I'm 6 foot 1 and 220 pounds and the 2X I ordered was so close to a good fit but I just had to go with the 3X to be safe. Perfect. Army Universe was so good on taking the coat back and exchanging it with no problems. I've owned a couple of Rothco flight jackets and have always liked their quality. I just couldn't go wrong with the Rothco 3-in-1 Spec Ops Soft Shell Jacket.

Great product fits as expected.

I like the jacket very much, I didn’t get to wear it yet as it has not been cold enough but, it is great quality, well made. You can tell it will stand up to the test of time. The fit is great, ever so slightly snug around my gut but , that’s because I’m fat. The nice thing is though that the jacket even with the liner has give to it, like it stretches a little witch seems like it will be great for driving. All of the pockets are great. The hood stashed in the collar makes it a little stiff. I may try stowing the hood in the back pocket if it doesn’t show. Or take it off altogether. Although it’s a very nice hood that has a drawstring in a unique place around the middle that will keep the hood from blocking your peripheral vision. I understand the positioning of the two front pockets being up high, it’s so that you get utilize them while wearing a backpack or chest rig which would come in handy but I do like putting my hands in my pockets in the conventional position and I do slightly miss that. Overall the best part of the jacket in my opinion is, that it is very tacticool!! And after all like Garland Thumb says ...the most important thing is looking cool!And I don’t even operate!! Just buy the dam thing!
