Q: is this $10 for 1 roll?

That's what the description seems to be saying. I did buy this product a while back (I think at a slightly lower price) and I received 3 sealed packages, each containing 1 new container holding 27.3 yds of dental tape (81.9 yds total), but it seems to be saying now is that it is for one container. Contact the seller to be sure. I do know that I bought it before because it was a fair price, which 1 container of 27.3yds for $10 would not be!

Q: How does oral b satin tape compare to the old glide tape in terms of width, thickness, and quality?

I like the oral B satin tape better, it doesn't split as easily as others and doesn't get caught between my teeth, which are very close together. Also, if my memory is correct, glide is waxed which makes it more difficult to use on teeth that are close together, oral B satin tape is not waxed. Overall, I think the satin tape is a better product, it's width is defnitely a tape rather than a floss, and it's very sturdy without being too thick to get between very close teeth. My favorite over all the brands I've tried, both name brand and store brand.

Q: Is this satin floss or satin tape?

That's tape, good for under bridges and around teeth with slight gaps. I'd suspect they're selling floss but have the wrong picture.
