what to or not use to clean it and do you need to spray a solution on the cleaner after is has been cleaned and dried like you would with a K&N filter
Air cleaner looks and fits as advertised. Only problem was that the gasket was torn and it didn't come with cleaning instructions. Such as, what to or not use to clean it and do you need to spray a solution on the cleaner after is has been cleaned and dried like you would with a K&N filter. Other than that, it looks good. I'll see how it performs when I take the bike out.

Fits as it should, appears to be well made. The filter element looks sufficient. The only thing I was surprised at, is the gasket. The picture shows what looks like an OEM type gasket in shape and appearance. Not at all what it actually is, at least in my case. A chincy almost like stiff construction paper grade gasket came with mine. Careful removal of your original HD gasket and it can be used again (one time) on this aftermarket AF.

Look, its made in China. In saying that, filter seems to be well made. The gasket however is a problem. This gasket is cheap. Your better off taking your existing factory stock one and trimming it to fit. I did just that and it seems to work fine.

Great filter upgrade
We replace the OEM filter for our 2003 anniversary edition HD Ultra classic. We love the fact that we wont have to replace it ever again since this one can be cleaned out.
