The boat light is lovely, looks even better than the picture. My son who loves anything sea related loved it.It will require and electrician for installation due to the wiring. The cables also had to be trimmed as they were quite long for where the room as I was using it in. Probably wouldn’t be a problem in houses with higher ceilings.

I thought this would look nice however it doesn't look all that. Was a struggle to get it on and when it was finally on I didn't like the way it looked. However quality is great just not suiting my room so much. Price is alright could be a bit cheaper.

Great look but shields the light so produces a dim light if that’s what you are after

This is a very dim light. Hardly any light is cast from it at all. Only a small amount of light escapes from the bottom, the rest is entirely boxed in. I would not recommend this as a primary light or ceiling light for a bedroom. If using for illuminating a small corner, it would maybe do instead of a lamp. But as I was not able to use it as a ceiling light in my baby's room (no use for night time changing or feeding), this was a waste of money for me.

Was going to purchase this for my 2 year old son this evening, until my teenager explained that the abbreviation CBA is actually rather rude for a child’s bedroom. Why not ABC?! Bit of a design error. Has now put me of making my purchase. Have only given 4 star as the product itself looks lovely and just what we wanted, however the reorganising of letters has put me off.
