Q: What is the actual height? Picture says 4" tall, but the product description says 4.5". I'm working on a project that needs it to be 4" tall. Thanks

Mine, white and bought years ago, is 4 inches tall.

Q: Are the black ones matt?

I've never seen a back one from this supplier, I bought white ones. I suspect that they are shiny ceramic. The white ones certainly are.

Q: Is the bottom completely flat or is there a raised edge?

there is an indentation on the bottom, only the edge of the bottom of the mug hits the table, so it is not completely flat.

Q: The cream-colored mug is clearly a different model from the other colors. Are the pictures accurate, or are they different styles?

Since I did not order a cream-colored mug I do not know for sure. However, the ones that I ordered had a curved and somewhat of a rectangle shape for the handle which was thinner. The mugs also have straighter vertical lines when viewing from the sides. The mugs also appear to be thinner as well. I think you are probably right that the cream colored mug is a different style.
