Work great.
Got 2 of these, and out of the box they look great. Easily assembled, and the mounts feel sturdy, Displayport Cables includedOut of the box, some of the settings are not defaulted to ON, such as FreeSync. That's OK...it is easy enough to turn it on. I also noticed that Windows 10 wasn't wanting to output at 144hz refresh, so I had to turn that on under the Advanced Display Settings.Note that these are not HDR capable displays. Even in SDR they look great and don't appear to be too dark. Blacks look Black (not grey), and I do not notice any Halo effects around White objects on a Black Background (I use Dark Mode). Games look great on these monitors, even games that have Day/Night for example The Witcher 3.The supplied mounts are pretty good. It doesn't feel like these are gonna fall over or anything. They have Height, Tilt, and Pivot. The mounts can be installed in a way that you can have a dual Vertical monitor setup with the top edges together thanks to the VESA mount attachment style of the mount. I do wish that there was a way to lock down your preferred height though. In Horizontal orientation the Monitor can be as low as 3.25" (at bottom edge of screen)/2.25" (at the bottom of chassis) or as high as 7.875"(at bottom edge of screen)/ 6.875" (at bottom of chassis) with the stock mounts. In Vertical Orientation, the bottom of the edge of the screen can be 1" from the desk. With Dual monitors, there is a 5/8" gap from Viewable Areas between the two monitors. with them side by side.

Solid monitor with good features
It's overall a good monitor. The adjustable stand is definitely nice to have. The colors are really good, but can get easily messed up with the OSD settings. The included DP cable is good and works at 1440p 144Hz. It runs fairly cool and doesn't burn your face. Also, the three year warranty is great considering some companies only do one year.As for negatives - the swivel is not very useful. It's cool, but the monitor is so big that reading on it in portrait mode is awkward. The sRGB color mode won't work if the contrast is set high. It works if it is set around 50% which is the usable number. Also, the cable management ring is flimsy and snapped when I tried to install it. The 'headphone holder' is completely useless unless you got some small headphones. At the full price of ~$350, it is missing some big features like USB ports and 165 Hz mode that other monitors in the price range have. It's great if you can get it on a sale.

Great IPS Display
I use this as my secondary monitor. My primary is a ViewSonic XG270QC (27" curved FreeSync Premium Pro HDR display).PROS:* View angles on this display are great.* Colors are very good for not being calibrated.* 1440P is the perfect resolution for a 27" display.* Great daily driver for somebody that also games.* Display is smart enough to switch inputs automatically (If I turn one computer off, and another on, it auto switches to that input. It will not auto switch if both are on, which is good)* Very small bezelCONS:* Does not have deep blacks like a VA display* No HDR support* The OSD is not as good as ViewSonic's higher end displays. I feel this should be universal.* The built in speakers are terrible. The other ViewSonic display right next to it has really decent speakers for built in, and I use them when I don't have the full sound system turned on. But the speakers on this XG2705-2K are terrible.* No one button input selector, this can be nice for switching between computers.

On the better side of decent
After years of absolutely refusing to upgrade from 1080p, I through caution to the wind and started looking for something that would suit me. 1440p always sounded nice but with an older gpu I was seriously concerned with the hit I'd take performance wise. But wow, it is worth it. Visually it's just insane how good this thing looks. I got it on a late night lightning deal so the price was right as well. Now some people said they received theirs with dead pixels. I didn't have any. I was a little skeptical at first also because I haven't owned a viewsonic in probably 20+ years. Well let me tell you, they're cranking out some decent monitors. When I decide to upgrade my second monitor, they will be getting my business.

Works with nVidia GeForce 1050 graphics card
I purchased this monitor based on reviews at this site. Inside the box is an HDMI cable, AC power cord, the stand, a plastic ring to hold headphones, and a quick start guide. No DP cable. The full manual is available online.Following posted advice, I checked for dead pixels. I did not see any. It is hooked up to a nVidia 1050 card via DisplayPort. As a Fedora Linux user, I was curious to see how it would work. There were no issues from a Linux standpoint. The proprietary nVidia video driver runs the monitor at 2560x1440 resolution @ 144Hz vsync. The screen is very sharp. I do not notice any bleeding.I checked out the built-in speakers. It is very tinny with weak mid-range and no bass. I use external speakers anyway. The stand has both tilt and height adjustment and is easy to adjust. One criticism is that the monitor is heavy for its size. Most of the weight seems to come from the stand.

Great Monitor on Black Friday
Got on sale for a pretty insane discount on Black Friday and it was the top purchase of the year. I did have to mess around with monitor settings to fine tune performance I was getting some ghosting out of the box. Overall, great monitor!

Good value 1440p 144hz IPS
I paid around $310 for this, which for a 1440p 144hz IPS monitor with a fully adjustable stand I would say is a great value. The stand is the reason I bought this one over some of its competitors because I wanted it to switch to portrait. For gaming, it’s about as I expected, there’s a little bit of ghosting. I haven’t had the chance to calibrate this yet, but the colors seem oversaturated.

Fantastic. Except for the contrast…
At this value for money I couldn't ask for more. The display has great, saturated colours with a good brightness to it. The resolution is brilliant and 1440p is perfect for this size display and the price range it’s at. 144Hz is noticeably better for gaming. Now for the cons. The speakers are unusable… I was never expecting a high end sound system but considering the monitors thickness (it’s quite thick for just a display) and the size of it I was expecting them to be okay for background game noise. My previous 24inch 1080p monitor had 100X better speakers than this, so this is quite a letdown. My least favourite thing about this monitor: The contrast and the blacks. I was expecting a 1000:1 contrast ratio, with the panel being IPS, so nothing amazing, but the blacks are considerably worse than my previous 1000:1 IPS display, and are noticeably grey even in daylight conditions, so don't expect particularly immersive gaming in this sense. The peak highlights are beautiful and the midtones are great but the shadows really offset this monitor’s impressiveness and I think this is one of the major downsides, thus this seemingly low price point. Overall the monitor is good, and what one should expect for spending this sort of money.

Stuck pixel
Bought the monitor late October, was working great definitely worth the money until a pixel got stuck in just 1 month of use which is obviously very disappointing as it’s very close to the middle of the screen making it very noticeable
