I bought these for my petite 9 year old (bought size 8-10) and because I read previous reviews I knew they would fit just fine; they are snug on her which is fine bc we use them as pj bottoms. I have a 10 year old that would not fit into these, they would be way to small so she would need a size up. So I would say these probably don't run true to size, they run small. Most might need to go a size up-I would suggest reading others' experience before purchasing in your standard size. These are incredibly soft and comfortable; pretty see through so they cannot be worn as shorts. We love them for the intended purpose.

We just received these today so I can’t speak as to the durability. We purchased these for my daughter to wear to school under her uniform (dress) so we were not concerned with sheerness. However, she could wear them around the house and that would be fine. They don’t appear to be that sheer in my opinion. She says they are very soft and comfortable, so she wanted to wear them right away before I even got a chance to wash them. I would highly recommend sizing up. My daughter is a petite 7 year old (smallest in her class) and we ordered the 8-10 based on other reviews. They are a tad loose on her but still fit well and are not falling off. I think the next size down would have been too restricting based on how this size fits.

My daughter is 7, typically wears size 6-7 in tops and bottoms. I bought these in size 8-10 and they fit perfectly, not much room to grow. These are PERFECT. She hates under dress shorts typically... these are soft and she loves wearing them all the time. Will order again! Only 4 stars because the sizing is off.

As other reviews said, runs very small. My daughter wears a 6/7 and I ordered an 8/10 and they fit her perfectly. She is very finicky when it comes to things being too tight or uncomfortable . My daughter has actually really likes these bloomers for under her dresses! She actually goes looking for them now. They do the job of keeping undies hidden under a dress.
