A big improvement on the flimsy original cord
I bought this to replace the original pull cord on my Coleman minibike when it snapped, leaving the bike useless.I wanted a much more durable pull cord, and after quite a bit of research, this was highly praised as the toughest available.I was at first worried that it would be hard to rewind and replace the cord, but I need not have worried.I watched two videos on YouTube demonstrating how to do it, then I did it myself. It turned out to be quite easy. The minibike is running again.I also have to say that the construcion of the cord is quite different from the original, much smoother and with the composition consisting of a type of fiber that is hard to describe; but it definitely feels much less susceptible to snapping.

Perfect Replacement for Snowmobile
Used on my 1998 Indy trail and was a direct replacement and has help up well. 7 feet is the ideal finished length it seems like for most snowmobiles so this is a little more than needed.

Stihl leaf blower
This fit my Stihl leaf blower great and I like the add size of the handle. I haven't had it long so can't comment on the durability

It's hard to believe that something so simple could be so easily overlooked
CORD! If only the manufacturers of pull start engines would give a crap about what they install on their equipment life would be great. After 3 replacement cords on my Ryobi Backpack Blower in less than one season. I finally found a product worthy of the name "CORD" Pull cord to be exact. Everything else that looks like this stuff is just Fat String. It is thus far everything it says it is. Its supple and glides through the pull start thimble easily. It's definitely strong! I noticed that unlike other nylon cord the fuzzy ends once cut don't melt together into a blob. I can only guess that the individual fibers are resistant to the flame. After about 20 or so start ups there is no sign of wear or fraying. For you folks that think its pricy, what it worth in time to disassemble everything over and over again only to have you pull "STRING" break yet again. GOOD STUFF PERIOD.George S From SC

92" cord actually measured 85"
The cord I was replacing was about 90", so I order the 92" cord. Found it to be shorter than original cord. So I measured it. It was 85". Not wanting to mess around with returning it and waiting for another, I installed the 85" cord. Fortunately it was long enough to work. I am still disappointed in the inaccuracy of the sizing.

Not the answer
I've been breaking every pull cord on my Honda pony motor on my trailers. Thought this might be the end of my problems. The handle is nice but the cord broke on the 1st pull. Going to try their largest size cord next just because I've tried many other typical options. This size cord might be great for a lawn mower or lawn equipment but my motors are giving me issues with it.

Unbreakable?.....mine snapped within an hour!
As far as Im concerned this is no different to cheaper alternatives. The actual handle is also pretty flimsy. Mine snapped within the first hour. Admitedly I have a 1970's mower which is probably a bit harder to start than modern machines but for me this was a complete waste of money.
