I'm the only man in a household of four. I was getting frustrated with the fact that hairbrushes constantly grow legs and migrate from the bathroom (where I need them) and out into the living room (where my wife tends to the lovely hair of our two beautiful daughters).Buying them each their own hairbrush didn't seem to help the problem. They just had more hairbrushes in the living room and would still occasionally grab the nearest one to hand on a bathroom counter (as the young ones emerge from a bath) and carry it out to the living room to complete the grooming.Eventually I just had to declare myself the owner of the one true bathroom hairbrush and bought myself a brush that looked wildly different from all the other black beaded-bristle hairbrushes in the house -- the True Red.It works like a charm; everyone knows that they're not allowed to touch Daddy's special red hairbrush. When I go looking for it, it's always there.As a stress-reliever (eliminating a trivial but daily source of irritation) it's terrific. It's pretty good as a hairbrush too.The brush is of a good size, about what you'd expect for this kind of brush, maybe a little larger. I have reasonably short hair and I just use it to brush back my wet hair after a shower. It works like a champ for this, but my needs are modest so I can't claim to have put the brush through its paces.I haven't seen any flaking or chipping of the red paint, but I've only had it for a couple of months. It's hard plastic all over, so if you like a little bit of rubberized grip on your hairbrush handle you won't find that here. This brush seems like it was made for the salon environment where everything is hard, easy to clean surfaces.

I love this brush so much, it is literally perfect. I love the all hard sleek plastic body and handle, it is so beautiful. The bristles are firm enough to brush soft enough massage my scalp, and I like that they are not too spread apart so it brushes the hair really well.
