Fish Are Not Afraid of Doctors (Maud the Koala)

My 18 month old was terrified of going to the doctor. She would kick, scream and cry during every exam. This book has a lot of features that match her experience at our doctor's office, like fish tank in the lobby and taking off her clothes to sit on the examination table, etc. The book even discusses vaccines. The book really helped us talk to our daughter about what to expect at the doctor's office in advance and her last appointment went so smoothly our doctor was shocked at the difference. We also bought a role play doctor kit to act out what she was seeing in the book(even the shots!) and I think these two things really helped with her anxiety during her visits.

My 2 year old loves this book! He had a doctor’s appointment today and he mentioned going to the doctor just like Maud does!
