I don't even know what these are really made of.The seller says: Material:80% Wool Blended,15% Nylon,5% Polyurethane.The product arrived saying it was modal, rayon and spandex.Either way, the contents listed are not that bad and as far as socks go they are comfortable. I prefer to avoid synthetics in socks, they are uncomfortable and overheating (with exception for plant based synthetics, and spandex can be okay for awhile depending on the temp & color) so I want to know what my socks are made of.It seems like anyone can say their socks are made of absolutely anything though, and you have no way of knowing, which disturbs me.I am done purchasing socks on amazon, it is absolutely ridiculous you have no idea what you are buying.

According to the packaging, these are cotton/acrylic socks, not wool or cashmere. Wool keeps its insulating value when it's wet, cotton does not - I specifically got these to wear in wet winter weather.They seem like nice socks if you're looking for a softer feel (cotton is usually softer than wool), although a bit overpriced for cotton, but if you're looking for wool socks, these will not work.

These are a nice LIGHTweight sock, are not a chunky knit, just the appearance of that with the yarns used. No cushion to bottom whatsoever, quite thin and will be fine for spring or fall, not a winter sock. What is chunky on this sock is the band at the ankle, not the sock. The band at the ankle is a little tight, the sock just fits, runs small, not sure how these will hold up to washing, will update review after I wash them.

I couldn't decide between a 3 or 4 star. If these had been advertised differently it would be 5 star. However I use cashmere wool socks all the time. Every few years I replace them. These are great looking and comfortable but the absolute lightest sock I have ever bought. Completely different than any others I have purchased in the past. I am one of those people who can not sleep with socks on and I actually fall asleep with these on, thats how lightweight they are. My feet actually get cold while wearing them. However they've been washed 2x each already and still look brand new, so they are good socks, just not what I was expecting. For the price, though not a bad purchase.

These are cute socks and the color is true to the pictures. However, they don't keep my feet any warmer than regular sports socks. I will keep them for spring and fall wear, but will look for something else for winter.

This is the second time I have bought these socks. They are thick and soft The colors go with everything. Mine just wore out at the heal, but it took a while.

I love the texture and colors but most of all how soft and comfy they are.

Though the fabric is comfortable and the colors are beautiful, the tightness of the size that goes around my ankle is a bit too snug for my liking in order to have healthy circulation. If you are someone who cares about the flow of your lymph, these might be OK for daytime socks but not for wearing to bed. Something slightly more loose might be better. I have very small feet and ankles so I know what I’m talking about here.
