This was great to cook in when I bought it. During the 5th use, the bottom developed a crack and a layer fell off - about 6 inches long… had to throw it

A beautiful and useful cook pot
I ordered this over a month ago but didn’t use it until recently. I am happy to say I love this pot. It is quite lovely and earthy; just follow the guidelines for its use (for example, begin cooking at low heat, only gradually increasing the level of hotness), you should have a great outcome I love to slow cook soups and stews, a technique well-suited to this cookware. If you enjoy natural products and want a more mindful cooking experience, you will enjoy the having this clay pot in your kitchen.
