WellmanGlow Plugs compatible with Ford 6.9 6.9L Diesel Trucks F350 F250 (set of 8) IDI (indirect injected engines)

I installed these last summer and was able to start my truck after I had let it shut off and cool down with 90% vegi oil in the system. It wasn't a very warm day either. It smelled like I just burned down a McDonnalds but it started.The other day I got to do an even better test of the glow plugs. It was a cold morning, 0*-5* Fahrenheit, I held the bypass button down for 15 seconds then let off for 10 seconds then held down for another 10 seconds and turned the key. The 6.9 in my '83 F350 fired right up. I'm going to say these glow plugs work just fine.Update: Its been almost three years since I put these in. They still work.I’m ordering another set for an ‘85 that I just got.

EXCELLENT replacement! Truck has not started this easily in years. I use a manual push button after having two controllers stick in the on position. Tried switching back to the OEM controller after installation. It wanted to keep the plugs on way too long. Assuming the self regulation in the plugs screws up the OEM bi-metalic controller. Prefer the manual mode anyway. Would not hesitate to recommend these plugs to a friend!

I received them very quickly. So far they work great. It was 25° this morning and the truck fired right over.

Worked great in my 6.9 IDI. Glow plug cycle was shorter with these installed versus stock plugs.
