I love this tea. The flavor is rich and full and I enjoy it without sweeteners! So happy I found the caffeine free version. Great for late afternoon or evening cups of tea. Same terrific taste!

I just received this tea. Being a big fan of the original non-organic "sweet and spicy" tea from Good Earth, I was a little nervous that I wouldn't like this, thinking it may be too bland. (But, I didn't want to keep drinking the non-organic tea anymore due to its addition of artificial flavors.)As it turns out, I am able to get a very satisfying flavor simply by double-bagging it. By allowing two bags to steep (whereas I would have normally used one for the non-organic "sweet and spicy" tea), I get a flavor that is very comparable to the flavor I enjoyed with the non-organic version. It is still not quite as strong as the non-organic blend; however, I find that I actually prefer the flavor a bit better because the non-organic version, while very good, has a tinge of a taste that I wasn't completely in love with. Whatever that was seems to be missing from this organic "sweet and spicy" tea, and I consider that a good thing.Anyway, just remember to steep two bags instead of one if you're looking for a taste more like the original "sweet and spicy".

I highly recommend Good Earth Sweet And Spicy Herbal Tea! This tea contains a successful blend of natural herbs that work together (think Chemistry and catalytic reaction!) to create a taste, flavor that seems 'Sweet'! This brewed tea is great hot and cold - we've made Sun Tea then refrigerated to enjoy the herbal delight over ice. When we've given this tea to others, they commented "Wow! What's in this tea?!" I bet this brewed tea would be a good ingredient in recipes (deserts or as a marinade) and as a compliment to any party/social beverage event (wedding punch, tea parties, holiday Wassail). The aroma that this tea produces fills the room with mental images of 'home' and Norman Rockwell paintings. I've tried other 'sweet and spicy' herbal teas but they lack the potency his particular brand has (you can get 2 or 3 cups of hot tea from just one teabag- getting your money's worth and then some). An added plus is this tea is caffeine-free so you can have a delicious cup of this spicy tea while you're snuggled up with a good book right before bedtime.

I wasn't happy when I opened my packaged and my box of tea packaged were smashed. It's so unfortunate that I cannot get a refund. Very disappointed.

I first tried this tea while visiting a friend last summmer; I loved it so much that she gave me a few bags to take home (the taste reminds me a lot of Bengal Spice by Celestial Seasonings, but also has its differences). I didn't want to lose this great flavor, so I decided to order more on Amazon when I got down to my last 2 bags. The tea I received looked different from the packaging shown in the picture (and thus different from the tea my friend gave me). I'm pretty sure it's the same taste, but I can't tell for sure. In addition, some of the information on the package is different (I believe even the distributor name or location is different). I like the taste of this tea, regardless... I'm pretty sure it's the same. The one issue I had was with the packaging. I contacted the seller and told them that the tea box arrived in a padded envelope, and the box was open a bit (it may have gotten crushed in transit). Luckily all of the bags were intact, and I store them in a plastic case vs. the box anyway... so not a huge deal but they may want to ship the tea in a more secure/crush-proof way (such as a small hard cardboard box). Bottom line, I would definitely recommend this tea for a unique and unexpected taste! It's not a harsh taste, but a nice sweet, spicy taste - meaning it's very appropriately named! :)

The tea bags are intact, but the box arrived looking like a couple of football players took turns stomping on it. I will use the tea, but someobdy buying it as a gift would probably have been disappointed.

A coworker introduced me to the Original Sweet and Spicy decaf tea. I liked it but it was a bit strong and I'd make 2 cups at once with one bag, although, many would consider that a good thing since they like strong tea. I liked the idea of going fully organic and found out that only one ingredient was different to make it fully organic. True to the other review, it was not as strong when brewed, but still had a great taste. If you are into organic and don't mind this tea being a bit less strong than the non-organic version, this this could be a hit for you too. I don't mind paying a little more for quality.
