Great quality but Fender took a big shortcut...
This is a nice Fendersk bass with active circuit, hot DM pickups and 3 band EQ. The bad side any buyer should consider is that Fender factory took a shortcut and didn't bother installing shielding in the pickup and knob cavities which make this bass noisy... very noisy like a combination of single coil hum with precision bass humbucker noisy. Sorry, I returned after a day because this bass is not worth the money considering Fender could have bothered to shield cavities and this bass would have been worth much more. Would probably work as a gig bass with noise gate but will not pass well for studio work... too noisy.
