Q: Is there a quicker way to deflate this? The air exits very slowly when the ports are unplugged (not that much faster even when squeezing the air out)

If you have an air compressor you could insert a small piece of tubing into the valve. You can then cut a small slit in the tube such that you can fit a blow gun nozzle into the slit. When you press the trigger on the blow gun it will create a suction through the tube and quickly deflate this or any other inflatable.

Q: Would this game be recommended for adults to play in a lake?

Absolutely!! My adult children love it and my husband won't get in the pool without it I'm sure it would be just as much fun at the lake

No, I don't think so, we didn't use one. It fills in a few different sections or chambers so you can actually blow it up.
