The Power of Blessing

This perspective of blessing can change the way you think and pray and look at other people.I need to revisit this book periodically o renew my thinking about blessing others.

This is a great book! The content is awesome - I originally bought the Kindle version - I decided to teach a class in this and purchased the physical book. I learned that there is misprint from p. 70 onward I ordered a replacement however, the replacement is the same.I would like to have the class purchase their books because class will start in June - however - unless they sent the correct version - I may teach at a later time.

I would place this book third in my library for life changing information. Bible first, Blood Covenant second and then this!

This book was so instrumental in my healing. What's great is that it's almost entirely just Scripture verses without any comment by the author. It's so good that I have given several of these books as gifts..

The meat of this book is sticking with me. The gist of it is to bless people and not curse them. Of course it may seem hard to want to bless certain people due to the way they act or treat others or whatever. But the author is saying that when we curse someone we are wanting for them other than what God wants for them. He gives many examples from Scripture concerning blessing versus cursing and the consequences of doing either. He also gives examples from his own life and the lives of others too.So if we have an issue with some people we should say something like, "I release blessing on you. May you know the peace and joy of the Lord."I am now blessing people who I don't feel like blessing. I'm walking in faith that this is the better way. Overall I feel better about living this way. I'm sure it will be difficult sometimes as I go along. But I believe the author is correct in this. If you are looking for a life changing "Christian Living" read then this is surely one of them.

I purchased this book because I had an opportunity to hear a cd on this subject by the author. I was going through an issue that was unfair and unjustified. I didn't realize that by me talking about the "truth" of the situation that I was cursing the situation and person involved. I have since blessed that supervisor and I have been praying and speaking blessings over her.I am no longer under this person but it will now allow God to get involved in the situation and my heart will be right in regards to the whole matter. My pastor has been teaching on growing up in christ, putting on God's character. We are supposed to do good inspite of the evil that has been done to us. Of course this is not easy nor does it feel good especially when you havent done anything to deserve negative treatment. When we choose to obey God's word such as in Proverbs 25:21-22 then we will be rewarded for "acting as Christ" would. This book was an eye opener and I am better for having read it. Definitely a must have in your spiritual walk!!! I have seen how God has moved for me in the past because I was obedient and "growing up" in the things of God...It works!!!!

This book is a life changer. We don’t realize that when we fuss, complain and murmur about our situation , our marriage, our job we are speaking a curse. This book opens your eyes to this with biblical teaching and real life examples of how speaking blessings really works with instant results. I did it and within a few days I saw remarkable turnaround in my situations.

I have to say, this is one of the most AMAZING books I have read to date! Although I'm still in the process of reading, I can honestly say that this book makes sense of things from the very first page! It has ALREADY clarified things for me that, as a Christian, I have wondered about my entire life. For example, I was told from the time I was little that we mustn't "gripe" at others as we are driving, etc. Instead, we should ask God to bless them. I always wondered why, but never really understood the concept behind this. Clearly, we are supposed to be loving & kind. Clearly, we are supposed to be understanding of the fact that someone may be having a really bad day/ a very difficult life, etc. However, I never really connected the dots that God wants US to bless them, and when we "gripe" (or as stated in the book, "curse" others), we are essentially "cursing" God, bcs each human is a part of Christ. We are all His work of art, and His children. You will not be sorry for this purchase! Excellent book!

I am a fast reader. I read a lot of books. But this book, I could not read so fast. Not that I didn't enjoy it but it was so difficult to process in the beginning. Bless the 'evil' coworker? Bless her/him with the goodness of God? There were (sadly) some people whom I surely want to curse, wish them all the worst etc. But Kerry said no.This book surely changed me and my mind. I don't have any testimonies yet but I truly believe that this is what God wants and what we should do as children of God - bless others. There are time to time moment where I feel that I got offended by others. It is still not so easy but I try to bless them. This is the secret every children of God should be aware of!

This book is just full of excellent advice and blessings. A real life changers
