I don’t know why some reviews are bad. These fabric pieces exceeded my expectations. First, anytime you purchase fabric in pieces especially at this price, expect it to fray a bit. However, I did not experience thin fabric or much fraying at all. I will purchase this for English fabric piercing. When ordering prints like this at an exceptional price, you really have no room to complain. These are cotton. Even if you can see through it....this is cotton. The question you should be asking before you purchase is...”What’s the tread count?” I would give this thread count a 250 count. Perfect for designs on a quilt but not enough softness to use as a quilt. Hope this makes sense.

I already knew my project before buying fat quarters, that being said... It really helps knowing how much you need and what you need it for. So I shrugged off ALL the reviews saying "too small" , "what can I use these for"? Well these are called puff quilt pillows and I absolutely love them. I ordered the blues and they are cute. The patterns are more of a hand dyed style which I like, so they have variations though out the colors, some areas lighter, some areas darker in the same piece. The patterns are happy and the colors of the 12 pieces blend together nicely so the pieces are fun to make a matching but scrappy-ish looking project. The reason for the 4 stars is the fabric is not of the best quality. It's not rough, but it is thin, not a nice batik quality 100% cotton. I really hope this company keeps making fabrics, as it's fun to get a dozen "fat eighths", but I do hope they up the quality of the fabric a step or two. Also it is now advertised as 11 1/4" squares and that's what I got. They were fairly square, only one piece was way off the grain. But for a fair price, so it's all good.

Love these quilting squares -softer than other quilting square lots I’ve purchased. Also much less ‘see-through’ and have a bit of sheen. These make unique face-masks, hair scrunchie collections & head-bands. Each one is a different pattern. Also, can use as place-mats or table runners, after sewing edges. Very happy with this item.

It is cut to 11 and 1/2" squares not as advertised 12" x12" very disappointing

I bought this fabric, to add to colors of a quilt I am making. They are small 11.5×11.5" they turned out to be just enough to make my blocks. They are a good quality fabric too, a lot less fraying even after pre washing them, better than what I bought in a fabric store. I would recommend buying if you don't need too much of any of these fabrics.

Update. I finished my quilt and I’m giving it to a friend. There is one issue. When I wash and dry the quilt the seams keep fraying. It’s excruciating to hand stitch them as it’s falling apart. I’m devastated. (I’ve been quilting for over ten years and I’ve never had this problem before.)Previously: I love the color! I’m making a rainbow colored quilt, so it was really convenient to buy one of each color and not have to cut much fabric. The problem is that they are not 12x12 inches, and the way it is cut means I still have a lot of work to do to make each even and the same size. Only purchase this if you don’t need the 12x12 square.

The fat squares I ordered were supposes to be yellow designs. Instead I got product with designs that had dye runsand I am not really sure what color they were going for but it was not what was advertised.
