Got my Full Speed back for Samsung 970 Evo 1tb
after realizing the hard way that the 2nd m.2 slot on my Motherboard was only an x1 (i.e sata speed) i went looking for a pcie adapter that would let me use the full x4 (4 lanes) found this, and it has the choice of ribbon cable length, I went with the 10cm, to be safe (about 3.75" for those in US) and it fit, and installed, and botted without issues, drivers, or anything other than plug & play. ran a Crystal Disk Mark test of the SSD (seen in screenshot) and got the full speed out of it finally :)

This extension works is in it speed of data as it was without. Very Good!!!

Works fine but need the correct screws
Works fine with a Samsung SSD on my machine. However, the screws included are totally wrong and I couldn't securely attach the disk to this daughterboard and needed to use screws from my own toolbox.
