I was a little worried about the quality and sizing of the boots after reading other reviews, bit I was pleasantly surprised. I usually wear an 8 or 8.5 in sneakers and boots, and wide if I can get it. I went with 8 wide on these and they fit really well. The width isn't super wide though and if it were any less wide, I wouldn't fit in them well - something to keep in mind if your feet are quite wide. Lengthwise they're perfect and the right amount of room in the toes. People complained about low quality laces, but they seem pretty standard to me. The boots are also obviously meant to be worn casually/tied loosely though - they're fashion boots, not combat boots.

Best boots for jeans.... comfy & stylish...Laces don't do much, but they fit good on ankles.. very stable & sturdy boot... great color.. they don't look cheep...

I love these boots! Love! I was on the fence to purchase because of the reviews, but they fit perfect. I'm a size 8 in shoes, but get an 8.5 in boots and these fit as I had hoped. I have them in brown and in black. I've worn them to work on a few ocassions and have been on my feet for 10 hours. Very comfortable. Recommended purchase

Last update:I had to order a whole size down. They fit great BUT the squeak is real! I didn’t notice at first because I was in loud places but walking down a quiet hallway and it sounds like the medium in Poltergeist!Too late to return them since I’ve worn them outdoors.I do love the way they look and they’re comfy so I’ll just wear them when I’m in noisy places.Update:I ordered another pair in 6.5 and they’re still too big but it didn’t have the uncomfortable seam. I normally wear a 7 so I don’t understand how they sized them. Since they were more comfortable this time I’m ordering a size 6. I really hope they fit because they’re really cute and I think they’d be comfortable in the correct size.I liked the look but they were too big so size down. The seam inside the top of the left foot was bulky and would be uncomfortable. Sadly I'm returning them but I might try a smaller size

I have been wearing these boots for 3 years now and they are still my favorite!! I have the black and brown pair, but the black is my #1. The brown pair is very nice too, but they are a bit squeaky which I didn’t experience with the black pair. The boot in general is very comfortable and I have gotten so many compliments. They style great with everything! They have been through a lot over the last 3 years and are well loved and we’ll warn, so it’s time to get another pair. The only defect in 3 years was part of the zipper just broke off, but still able to use. Overall, highly recommend.
