Beautiful little sunflowers
I started out only planting five seeds in one pot. Once they began to grow I planted them into the ground. They reached about 10 feet before they started to form buds. They started opening from the top and working their way down the stem. Mine still have a lot of buds on them. I am very happy with the purchase and they are very easy to grow. The price was perfect.Update: I planet five seeds the first year. The second year they more then doubled. I did not tie them up this year. In my opinion the seeds are well worth the price.

Cold helps germination
None of my initial order germinated and my replacement is on the way. After doing some research I found a research study saying a prolonged period of cold is needed before the seeds will (reliably) germinate. When the seeds arrive I'm going to put them in the refrigerator for 2 weeks before trying to plant them again.Plant them 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch deep. They like soil that holds moisture, like soft clay and soil rich in organic matter.

Popcorn
This method of popping corn results in popcorn as good as of not better than movie popcorn.

Not accurate description
I had no problems with germination. The plants that were supposed to be 12’ only grew to 3’ - 4’. They are budding now, so no more height. They are going to flower so it’s not a total loss. Any flower is a good flower.
