I put these in the bedroom and bath. They are nice and thick and comfy. I don’t like carpeting, but area rugs define a room. I cannot speak to how easy or difficult they are to clean. I have no dogs or kids and don’t walk on them with street shoes. I loosened any debris by brushing, then I spray with a solution of Dawn and place in the sun to dry. The looked fine and smelled clean.
