The book is as good as its gorgeous cover suggests!
The Princess will save you by Sarah HenningAnother story I just couldn’t put down!Amarande is a princess raised by her Warrior King Father alongside her best friend Luca, the castle’s stableboy. When Amarande’s Father dies in seemingly natural circumstances, Amarande is expected to wed a prince of a neighbouring kingdom to secure her rule. However she is in love with Luca and he with her, and when Luca is kidnapped she will stop at nothing to save him. This book ended with a lot of questions! I hope/NEED a second book to continue the story!! This is the first book of @shhenning that I have read but upon finishing this book I have now ordered Sea Witch! The cover is what pulled me in initially, I know you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover but it’s so pretty and the book lives up to the promise it gives!5/5 ⭐️Recommend ✅#theprincesswillsaveyou #sarahhenning #thereisalwaystimeforbooks #bookworm #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #booklover #booknerd #books #reading #mummyreads #book #bookish #bookobsessed #bookreview #readingaddict #bookcover #bookcoverart #kickassfemale #strongwomen #manindistress

Quick, easy, surprisingly good book!
Well, what can I say about this book. I will admit I went into this book, not expecting to much. That's not to say i was expecting it to be bad. But what I expected was a run of the mill, average romantic fantasy. What i got for the most part was, a run of the mill, average, but good romantic fantasy... However...I wasn't quite expecting the excellent pacing. The well rounded likable (but still flawed) main characters. Villains who started out tame but became actually awful. There were twists and turns at the end of this book that keep me speed reading this book until I had finished it. I am 100% going to be continuing this series.Amarande is both likeable, yet realistic in many aspects. She is a strong willed character who is impulsive but isn't perfect. Luca is adorable and such an amazing male in this book. He is not phased at all about potentially being saved by a woman. The side characters in particular Ula, are actually well developed for such a short book and there was some good quality banter between characters. Now honestly it isn't a book that is likely to win any awards, however it was actually what a book should be. It was enjoyable, it kept my interest and now keeps me wanting more. There is scope in this story for the sequel to be damn good and I can't wait to carry on.

Fun read
I had picked this title up because it had been pitched to me as a modernized Princess Bride. The concept was definitely fun to read - badass heroine who could handle herself with a sword. I found myself skimming certain parts of the book, not because it was dull or lackluster, but because u wanted to get back to the action scenes moreso than the "palace politics".Undecided if I'll pick up the sequel, but still a cute read.

Ummm.... YES!!!
First off, love the Princess Bride references! Instead of “As you wish” it’s “Always”, the pirates, the Prince and his sidekick, the stable boy and the princess... I mean if you are looking for a book that’s scene for scene the same, then don’t read this! Sarah Henning puts her own little twist to it and I LOVED it!But now I’m mad that I don’t already own the sequel for I shall perish from curiosity until payday once more! But it’s an AMAZING world and a great twist on a classic!I own the hard cover copy and the Audible copy. The reader for the audiobook was easy to listen to and understand. I always appreciate a decent reading voice!
