Mitchum Smart Solid Clinical Performance, Unscented, 2.5 Ounce (Pack of 6)

UPDATE 5-2021:They changed something in the formulation, and I no longer can wear it. It starts to irritate my underarm within a few hours of applying it, and a few days' use results in eczema. I noticed that the label and feel were a little different, and I guess that's not all that changed. No good at all! It still is an effective anti-perspirant, but it no longer something I can wear, and I doubt I am alone.I switched to Vanicream Clinical Strength, and that works wonderfully. It's more expensive, of course, but it performs even better, and it does not irritate my skin at all.----I've been using this for years. It's a very effective antiperspirant, it goes on nice and easy, and it doesn't aggravate my fragrance allergy.

Amazon wants me to rate this on its "warmth" and "sheerness" and "thickness". What the hell? It's deodorant, not panty hose! But as far as deodorant goes, this is my favorite. I don't want my armpits to smell like a pine forest or a mountain stream or a beach. I want my armpits to smell like... well, nothing! That's what this deodorant does. Also, it's not a gel, so it doesn't feel like I've slathered my armpits with KY Jelly. That's not my thing. If it's yours, well... you be you. It's also a water-based solid (who knew that was possible?). It feels dry, but it doesn't get those white deodorant racing stripes on your shirt.Bottom line, it works well, feels dry, doesn't stain your clothes. Good stuff.

I’ve used this stuff for 20 yeara and never had a problem. Recently ordered a five-pack to last me a year, and amazon quickly delivered. Lo and behold, something changed with Mitchum and way for the worse!- first, the product smells to high heaven of chemicals. This must be toxic. It is repulsive.- worse, this odor is so strong now you smell like it for hours.- the stuff starts to flake off after it dries (which takes a good 5-10-15 minutes- while it promises 48 protection, it barely lasts 12 hours before I staft to smell of BO and chemicals (see first comment)Keep shopping folks! Mitchum has lost a long loyal and repeat buyer. This product (literally) stinks!

Something went wrong. I purchased this 6 pack for my upcoming trip to African and used the first one without noticing any problem, but when I started to use the second one I noticed that top was difficult to remove. I ended up biting the inner plastic cap on the inside to remove it. To shorten the story. There was a very small amount of deodorant inside so I checked the other and saw the same. The product is very good, I've been using Mitchum for many years and will continue to do so, however be warned that this could happen. Maybe something went wrong at the factory. See photos

I had always used Mitchum Deodorant for many, many years until Gillette came out with their Clinical Formula which was even stronger than Mitchum. I recently tried one Mitchum Clinical Performance about a year ago and was glad that it worked as well as the Gillette. When I was nearing depletion of my supply of Gillette, I decided to hunt around for the 2.5 oz. size of Clinical Performance deodorants and a good price. Drug stores are selling that size but for a horrendous price of $13.00+ leaving me cold. I shopped at Amazon and after minutes spent of flipping through the pages on Amazon.com I found what I was looking for—a six-pack of Mitchum, unscented (scented would have been fine as well), Clinical Performance for such a great price.So many large sticks for a low price each one times six = a Snoopy Smile. All joking aside, this is a great product that will last several days if one is prone to that. This is the best Clinical Performance deodorant on the market for the best price possible. Highly recommended.

This is the best Mitchum deodorant produced, as long as you don't have to get the stuff on in a hurry. It goes on with very little effort, doesn't have a scent, doesn't bother my ridiculously sensitive skin, and it lasts longer than any other deodorant solid or gel I've ever used. However, if I press very much or go to fast, a large chunk of the stick breaks off and flings rapidly into an undesirable bathroom location, leaving me to triage pit care.

I have used Mitchum Smart Solid for years and love it - BUT I ordered this package of 6 offered here. They were all defective. Upon opening they all crumbled when being applied. Horrible!!! UNUSABLE! Junk.
