THIS Pittsburgh is number 1-model for the quality & Price!
First of all, I have owned many torque wrenches over the years! At one point I had over $1000 in just torque wrenches so I can have one for every possible measurement from the smallest NM‘s in the largest foot pounds. Also let’s not forget inch pounds too. This model Pittsburgh torque wrench does all three! So save yourself a lot of money and purchase this one instead of multiple torque wrenches. It comes in a very high-quality heavy duty case and, many people don’t need these but, it comes with very detailed instructions too. While I wish I was paid from Pittsburgh for such a high-quality and enthusiastic review, unfortunately I am not! Seller please take notice and throw some money my way… LOL.But in all seriousness, this is the torque wrench for you. Very well-made and usually later it will still shine like the day you purchased it. Five stars and I highly recommend.

a good and necessary tool
I think the non-click kind are probably more accurate (I don't know for sure), but I don't like them. This unit seems accurate though I have no real way to know, not my first torque wrench. I have all three sizes 1/4, 3/8, 1/2"no complaints

This wrench did not click. Therefore it did not do it's job. NO GOOD.
This wrench did not work right from the get-go. It just didn't click. I tried it on both of my cars' transmission pans. I exchanged it for the same wrench at Harbor Freight and I hope this one works.

For the weekend mechanic it is great and I have owned one for 10 years
See my above comment. For the price it cannot be bested. For the weekend mechanic it is great and I have owned one for 10 years. I have used this tool reliably on street bikes, dirt bikes, trucks, and cars with good tactile feedback on all values. 3/8 has great range so no need for a 1/4 unless you need a small space tool. I also own a 1/2 inch drive for bigger jobs such as truck and sports car lugs. Few drops of oil every year or so. No rusting issues with light moisture.
