Sena 10R Low Profile Motorcycle Bluetooth Communication System w/o Handlebar Remote (Discontinued)

After having the SMH10R, I upgraded to the 10R. I’m pleased to report that all of the things I liked about the previous model are in tact in the 10R, with upgraded Bluetooth, sound quality, and remote compatibility.I purchased this unit primarily so I could use it with the RC4 remote. I was happy to hear that the sounds quality has improved (better bass). As with anything Bluetooth there are a few quirks and workflows to learn - for most, a few minutes of experimenting with the manual in hand (and off the bike) will result in a good experience.If I had to change one thing it would be to bury some of the intercom settings deeper into the interface…I don’t use the intercom and sometimes the functionality is just too prominent such that it can interfere with other functions, sometimes causing a 5 sec delay when pushing the wrong button.All in all a great, reliable unit with good battery life.

I bought this because of the low profile after seeing a friend's 20R (definitely NOT low profile) with the jog dial. I also read a review that while the 10R buttons were sometime a little hard to find (I agree,) the 20R jog controls were offten TOO sensitive. The best feature of this, and probably all Sena products, is the microphone/transmit sound quality.Speaker quality is fine and volume can be turned up past "too loud"; you can drown out all road noise if that is your goal. I have it installed in a full face helmet and my wife can't tell if I'm sitting still or going down the road at 70mph. The mic really is that good; better than the headset that came with my iPhone 7.Bluetooth connection is easy and it controls Napster just fine. Get used to the button controls and you'll be thrilled you bought this. I am upgrading to a Shoei GT-Air this year and will be purchasing the customized 10R for that helmet, including the handlebar control.

Too quiet to hear anything even remotely clearly

I love this product! A friend of mine has a Sena and when I heard what these systems are capable of now I had to buy one. We can connect and chat when we're riding now even though his is an older model. I went for the newer and slimmer 10R and I am not dissapointed. It actually didn't cost much more than the other models and it looks fantastic; barely noticeable on the helmet. It connects automatically to my phone each time it powers on and the voice commands work better than I hoped, but the best thing about the 10R is the built in FM radio receiver. I love being able to listen to the news and music on my way to work each morning just like when I'm in my car. Worth every penny!

I like it, and even installation does not look so bad after Interphone 3mc. Don't like that external battery - they could do something better looking, but it seems like it's more powerful as well. As a result - I'm on the fence and can't say if it's 4 or 5 stars.Oh, almost forget: they don't do linux software, so definitely 4. I have neither mac nor windows and I'm still a human being paying my money to Sena. At least do the wireless software upgrades, don't be so lazy.

This Bluetooth headset is great. The wires are a bit thin though. I worry if they will pinch easily. Installation is straightforward but make sure the positions of the control unit and battery are good before using the adhesive stickers. That adhesive is pretty strong. It is almost impossible to move once you stick them on.Battery lasts a long time. I wear earplugs when I ride so I have to turn it all the way up. If I wear my helmet (Bell Qualifier) without earplugs, the wind noise overpowers the speakers over about 50mi/hr.

I think this headset is overpriced for being an upgrade from the previous version. The headset is suppose to be HD sound quality, improved connection, and ease of use amongst other things.However, you still have to connect a cable to your helmet and leave it for around 4 hours. The only real difference that I found was the design of the headset and connected parts including the battery.Of course the sound quality is amazing and the connectivity is excellent. There is no difference however from the previous model besides the design.

I ride a 2018 HD Breakout. The only complaint I have is that Siri cannot recognize my voice in my modular helmet. It will work recognize my voice if the face of my helmet is flipped up and the motorcycle engine is off. So I’m still not totally hands free. It works very well when I’m on phone calls and people hear me clearly. Speakers sound good also

Super happy work really well

Gekauft als Paar für meine Frau und mich, um beim fahren miteinander zu kommunizieren! Die Montage ist zwar etwas "fummelig" gewesen und hat mich einen halben Sonntag gekostet - das Ergebnis war aber mehr als zufriedenstellend! Die Verbindung zu den iPhone‘s waren nach einem Update der 10er recht unkompliziert. Klare Verständigung und leichte Bedienung - was will man mehr!!! Klare Empfehlung von mir!!!

Prodotto di ottima qualità, sottile, discreto. Audio cristallino con pochi bassi e poco volume. Kit completo di tutto ciò che serve.

Spedizione velocissima. Il prodotto si presenta bene e funziona correttamente, l'installazione un po' laboriosa ma alla fine si riesce.Il problema è che la versione del Sena 10R pubblicizzata come "più recente" o "2022" e venduta a un prezzo simile è in verità stata "castrata" del modulo FM radio, restando peraltro in tutto e per tutto identica alla precedente. Cercando bene sul sito Sena si legge che hanno eliminato I moduli FM per evitare "ritardi estremi dovuti a restrizioni della supply chain globale". Bel modo di prendere in giro I clienti: vendi un prodotto come più aggiornato ma poi in verità hai solo tolto un componente per guadagnarci di più. Alla fine il prodotto l'ho montato sul casco e non si può restituire perchè ci sono adesivi, velcri etc, però ogni volta che non potrò ascoltare la radio in moto penserò alla fregatura che mi ha dato Sena. Non ne consiglio l'acquisto, o per lo meno acquistate il vecchio modello.
