Words fail me - it is a joy to own and very good value

This book arrived today - perfect condition, with good quality printing and text, which really compliments the Art works. I like the print finish on the paintings, so you can see the detail - not highly glossed as some art books tend to be. Haven’t had time to read the commentaries much yet, just sampled as I worked through the pictures, the writing gave some interesting background and insights. The occasional poem adds to the atmosphere, and the feel for Cornwall coming out of the paintings is a golden thread - though there are a few works derived from Ireland, Scotland, and Greece, as well as other counties that similarly have a sense of place.As a trained artist and former teacher I appreciate the craft and technique of Kurt’s work, which oozes his enthusiasm and action in the compositions from painting outdoors … infectious, and encouragement for picking up your own brush and getting out there!If you are not a painter, the pictures are a celebration of seascape with a modern touch, and are just stunning to look at. Enjoy.

Kurt Jackson is a cracking artist. My husband is a big fan and loved this gift. Beautifully presented in this super book.

This artist is perfect for anyone who likes seascapes! His contemporary style is so fresh and credible, you can almost smell the ocean. Inspirational.Good quality hardcover book for the price.

A beautiful sensory book to look at and read. Because it is written by Jackson he is able to explain the area he paints in Cornwall and why.It isn’t a “how to book”. However I felt the quality of the prints in the book was poor. I wanted to enlarge the image to see how the painting was constructed.
