The media could not be loaded. If you are looking for a SOLID quality sump pump look no further. This thing is built in the USA and made to last. Don’t waste money on those cheap plastic pumps, get a professional one. We installed this in a finished basement and I know it will work for years to come. Don’t forget to drill the weep hole in the discharge pipe. Additionally, this pump has a tethered float that hopefully last longer than a normal switch affixed to the pump. Also make sure you pick up a “silent” check valve on Amazon when you are doing the pump replacement. Spend a little extra and make it nice

Seem sturdy enough. I usually get about 10 years use before they fail. Pretty constant use in a septic dozing tank. Effluent is pumped up hill to my leach field. These have a steel case which are much more robust.

I bought this as a replacement for a Flotec 1/4 hp pump in a basement sink drain box. Looks to be of great quality and boy is it quiet! Like to be able to adjust the tether on the float switch for best min/max water level. 3 year warranty and reviews seemed unbeatable at a good price, and it's made in NY, where I live.UPDATE: 7 years later, still going strong! Price has increased 44% though, so today I would consider something cheaper!

Moving into a house and after a year, the original sump pump died the old one was very loud and made a lot of water movement since installing this one it is silent, and you cannot even hear the pump go on highly recommended if you want a silent reliable pump the plastic flimsy is solid made

The pump is efficient and quiet. I'm very pleased with the results.Note - I installed using a "klunkless" backflow valve which has made operation completely quiet now.

Haven't used it much so far but does a good job of removing water from my back yard.

As another poster noted, made in USA and a solid replacement for an old Hydromatic / Pentair pump. Also a lot quieter than previous pump, and would buy another when needed.

I chose this pump specifically for its float switch.Our water table is high, and the sump maintains a steady trickle, even in winter. I was able to adjust this pump's float for about 12 inches of travel in our sump, vs the 3 or 4 inches that this pump's sibling with the vertical magnetic switch provides.This means my pump will cycle once, where the other would have cycled 3 or 4 times...Love the pump. Powerful and quiet !

Installed around 1 yr ago, was pretty high quality compared to old one. Has worked 100% pumping my sewer.
