Reading this book was truly eye-opening, informative and inspiring! There’s so much beauty around us that we ignore. The stories shared about H.H. Pope Kyrillos VI highlights true compassion & love. God worked through him and it was evident in all that he did. Will definitely be reading this book over & over and sharing it with everyone I know!

Fr. Kyrillos embarks on a wonderful journey, sharing his contemplations on the spiritual life alongside the stories of the encounters and miracles of St. Pope Kyrillos VI. Particular emphasis is given to the virtues and the struggles within the Christian spiritual life, highlighting the importance of thanksgiving in the midst of the trials faced by all on a daily basis. There is a beautiful sense that the reader is given throughout that all facets of the Christian life that are so often divided from one another are intricately woven together in the tapestry of Christ Himself: theology, the Eucharist, sorrows, the passions, etc. are robustly seen as being interdependent on one another, unified in the person of Christ. The extracts from the Psalms coupled with the stories of St. Pope Kyrillos VI reinforce the reality of Christ being among us from the beginning to the end.

excellent stories shared that show the real generosity and love the Saint Kyrillos really portrayed in all his virtues. This book shows not only the many miracles but the practical application that we may follow from his virtuous life. This book is truly a 3 course meal, that is perfect for daily easy reading. the spiritual meditations in each section are short, sweet and deeper than expected, they are profound messages that keep the reader enlightened as if he read a collection of spiritual books on each topic.

I've read many spiritual and religious books throughout the years, but this one is an absolute stand out! The author's perspective and insight on the love of God for us is so overwhelmingly beautiful throughout all the meditations. There is so much wisdom to be gained in reading the meditations and truly my heart is filled with joy and peace! I loved it so much I bought many more as gifts for family and friends! This will be a staple in my spiritual life forever.
