KO Matcha Ceremonial Grade

Awaken your mind. Renew your body. Energize your soul. As a daily matcha drinker, I have tried lots of brands and am usually disappointed. It seems like 99% of matcha being sold today is not high quality and tastes like a combination of mud and grass. To get high-quality matcha I've had to resort to importing it directly from Japan. The problem with that is it takes too long for delivery. There was always a danger of running out if I didn't order soon enough...A friend of mine raved about this new matcha... KO Matcha. I thought, oh great, here comes another one. I waited patiently... Ok, not patiently. Finally, I got the news that the product was available to purchase. So I ordered a couple cans and was ready to be let down.Will this matcha be able to hold its own and go toe to toe with my regular brand? The product came in a box which already makes it stand out. Point for KO Matcha. Upon opening the can and looking at the sealed bag inside, Ko matcha does not have a bag that is easily torn open (had to use scissors) so that's a point for my usual matcha. Then in the bag, I noticed the level of matcha appears to be higher in the bag than my usual 40-gram canisters. Perhaps my usual matcha gets more compacted or perhaps sits more in the bottom of the bag for some reason. KO Matcha appears to be the same color and consistency as my normal matcha. When prepared hot, ceremonial grade KO Matcha appears to be the same color as my usual matcha. So how does it taste??? It's like drinking a fine wine. It's rich, complex, astringent, and just a little sweet... It's perfect! The first sip makes you yearn for the next sip to dance around in your mouth hitting every available taste bud. This is absolutely delicious. It tastes the same, if not BETTER than my usual matcha. KO Matcha wins going toe to toe because of the quality of the product, the price, and the availability of it on Amazon! In an emergency, I can easily get next day delivery or 2 day delivery with Amazon Prime. Great Job KO Matcha. If you are a matcha connoisseur, I definitely recommend you give this one a try. You will not be disappointed. If you have not tried matcha, do yourself a favor and make sure you try a high-quality ceremonial matcha like Ko Matcha. I cannot wait to taste and compare the limited edition when available.

I heard about this from one of the Peloton trainers and decided to give it a shot. Amazing!!!! Not only is the taste good, but it does exactly what it's suppose to: energy, memory, etc. I drink one 16 ounce a day about an hour or so before a ride, and I have more energy than before and am able to improve my rides daily. I looked into the other brands, but this one seems to be exactly what it says. You won't be disappointed!!! The only thing I would like is a larger container :(

Vibrant and delicious!I have tried many matcha brands and this one is hands down my fave! I saw Jennifer Jacobs from Peloton raving about it (she's a matcha queen) and based on her recommendation I bought it. So glad I did - it's awesome hot OR cold!You will love this product and they are also super responsive on social media.

I find Matcha to be steeped rich in tradition. I love learning about the history of Matcha. There are some lovely videos out there that help to explain both the history and tradition. I learned so much about the different ceremonial grades by visiting a Japanese Tea shop in NYC for a tasting. I wanted to give KO Matcha a review as it compared to the grade and brand I had been drinking. I prefer to drink my Matcha hot, but recently developed a love for it cold as well. In an attempt to experience the full flavor, I also mixed shots of both brands. KO is so smooth and finely ground, I don’t notice clumps as with my other brand. The KO flavor is savor worthy. A perfect blend of sweet earthiness for me, with none of the fishy flavor of other brands. A cup of KO is a way to start your day off in a healthy and focused direction! I honestly dread to see the bottom of my cup appear. While I do still like my old brand, I am beyond pleased with KO Ceremonial Grade Matcha! I intend to purchase many more tins of KO! I look forward to an opportunity to try the Limited Edition KO as well! I am curious if you will open a KO Tea Shop in the future?

A lifelong coffee drinker and wanted something a little easier on my system and with enough flavor to not need any sugar. I have it before and after my workout each morning with some unsweetened oatmilk and my wife and I are hooked!
