Fun and funny
I love the YouTube channel and wanted to support. It's fun to read it and imagine it's a video in his voice.

Such a fun, practical cookbook
Bought this as a gift for my daughter...half as a joke and half serious. I read it through before giving it to her and thought it was great. It was well written, had great tips and fun, interesting recipes. And all of that was done in a amusing tone. I assumed it would be very basic, beginner recipes and was pleasantly surprised to find that to not be the case. Highly recommend this cookbook.

The title and cover picture almost make this a must buy gift!
The recipes inside are useful and fun to read, too. This gift was well received and appreciated.

He does not suck at writing cookbooks
Gave it to my boyfriend for valentine's. The book is absolutely fabulous! I love the humor and quality of the book. For the recipes, we have yet to try them out as we suck at cooking, yeah, we totally suck. If they are anything like the videos, then the recipes should be delicious and I have my faith in YSAC.

This Is the Stuff that Food Comedy Is Made of!
How do I review a masterpiece by an unknown author who has a decidedly unique style and an ability to shock and awe with every breath? Is this chef a man or woman, or both, or none of the above? Every breath is potentially lost in myriad gales of laughter, and I'm not sure I'm going to survive our first encounter.I was in a bad mood this morning, very bad. Bad, bad badbad. So I did what my husband hates most and opened my Kindle to "Books" to see what's recommended for sale to me when I'm in a bad mood. Tucked in there, quite innocently and innocuously was this You Suck at Cooking, with no stated author. I HATE anonymity where someone refuses to take responsibility for the careful or careless mischief he is going to make. Hate it, but still curious. So I sampled. Hmmm. Well, guess what Chef Anon is hilarious in the nicest, most responsible way possible. He is giving fandango information, with fresh new concepts and words to entangle and engage us in the sheer FUN of cookery. Simple recipes from simply different ideas (who knew green eggs from pesto not spinach, are way better and I don't have to grit my teeth offering it to my grandchild with hopeful crossed fingers). And, I've got a wangdangler or two and have never called them spatulas because I hate spitting into my skillet when I ask Frank for one.And I don't care who Chef is, he is welcome in our home/life/will because he somehow noisily sneaked into our kitchen and our hearts by reminding us that cookingwithlaughter just tastes better. That love is the most essential seasoning is the most essential part of any recipe and it takes the toil out of the task (and the foil out of the flask; I don't know why, but I needed to say that! He/she made me say it, then giggle). It is so nice, so refreshing for cooking to be fun again, that I think I'll make some peanut butter cookies and be fifteen again. I think I'll be in good company with other newly devoted fans of Chef Anonymous. Come on! Give You Suck a try. You might find you don't suck at all, which is a good thing, because these days straws are in such short supply.

Yes, yes I do.
I bought this book to support one of my favorite online cooks. I have learned a few things from them, and hope they will go on to write a sequel. Thank you You Suck at Cooking, thank you very much. 10/10 Would recommend.

Absurdly Practical
And practically absurd. What can I say that hasn’t already been said? Funny, useful, and full of good (and easy) recipes.

Instructions unclear, accidentally learned to play the guitar.
I thought "bloody hell, that guy from youtube that doesn't suck at cooking has written a book" and immediately was interested, wanted to support the guy for the years of entertainment but then I sat down and read through this little novella. I wasn't quite prepared for the peppery (peppery peppery) intensity of this book; I'd expected actual recipes and just enough flavor text throughout to fill a single online recipe, but lo and behold each chapter is a magnificent mix of everything YSAC's known for, and all the things that Devin isn't known for too. It's so good in fact, I read it cover to cover then decided to read the bits in-between where the recipes were; and not to brag, but, I suck slightly less at cooking because of it.

An experience..
This book is so fantastically absurd and every page is sure to make you laugh! It gives you confidence to try new things and combinations and you really do receive a part of the YSAC YouTube channel. Recommend to any one with even a slight sense of humour or a will to cook. Amazing!!

Comedy writing with an added culinary bonus
Bought as a gift. My "clueless in the kitchen" son really likes it. The main plus point is the comedy - he reads it for entertainment. He's tried a few recipes, and though they are pretty basic they have got him to start experimenting and getting some confidence to create something edible.

Funniest cook book I've ever read!
I bought this book for my teenage son, who spent the day reading me quotes from the book and giggling to himself. This book is a must read!!
