Surprisingly captivating
I was expecting a predictable story line but the sequence of events was surprising and kept me interested and wanting to read more. Love Piper Lawson and her books! Now off to get the next in the series as the extract already has me hooked!

Schooled
I toyed between three and four stars and have eventually decided on four. This book had the twist that the girl was older than the boy who is her best friends younger brother. (Often the boy falls for his best friends younger sister), so this was a nice twist and in some ways it felt more realistic because Lex and Dylan were on and off again more often than my Kindle!II was surprised that Dylan secret about his family didn't play a bigger part in this book and for me, the story would have made more sense if we had read Dylan's conversation with his parents around not supporting his sister and Lex's business because that just came out of nowhere and then to find he was supporting them was strange.I thought this was well written but just lacked something that I can't put my finger on.

Beautiful story. I love it
I love the chemistry between Dylan and Lex. There is never a dull moment when they are together as they have disagreements, funny banters, and don't forget the hot sex. Goes to show the age has nothing to do with love. The heart wants what the heart wants. Dylan is certainly a fast learner because it didn't take long for him to know exactly how to make Lex scream his name but I think he has always had feelings for Lex so he had incentive to learn fast. The story line is good and I love the way it progressed. The friendship between Lex and Ava is beautiful, the supporting characters are all likable and although Jake is supposed to be the unlikable characters I think he brought a little kick to the story. I hope there is a book where he finds love too and we get to find out why he is so complicated. I totally enjoyed reading this book.

I want my own Dylan 😍
don’t know where to begin with this book, other than to say right out of the gate that I’m giving it ***** 5 stars.I unfortunately read Piper’s other book in this series first called Stripped, and that was another great read too, but this one was just all kinds of WOW.From our Hero Dylan and Heroine Lex (Alexis), to the best friend Ava, Surfer dude Kent and jerk of an ex boyfriend Jake the characters are all well thought out and well written. This story sets up the characters in the second book which I previously read. Ava and Lex have been at college for 2 years now and have dreamed up their fashion business Travesty, Ava is the designer and Lex the business mogul minded one, but there’s trouble brewing in the form of Ava’s 14 months younger brother Dylan, who’s just transferred to their college from Penn State. After a chat to cheer Lex up when seeing her ex Jake sucking face with another girl at her birthday party, Dylan soon worms his way into Lex’s affections, much to her dismay. I mean what’s a girl to do when a drop dead newly transformed and filled out guy is sat on your bed confessing his inexperience and your being all kinds of selfless and offering to help him out by testing his kissing skills for him, purely for scientific reasons !!!!! But Girl code clearly states 1) no dating your BFF’s ex and 2) No dating your BFF’s siblings. But it looks like rule number 2 is about to be blown out of the water. And to say Dylan is allegedly inexperienced he certainly knows what to say and do when he’s got Lex alone.

3.5 innocent stars
A pretty tame read. Nothing too intense, but some good chemistry going on. I don't quite understand the whole covering for his dad thing though. Dylan was a bit of an anomaly. As for Alexis, she thought Dylan was quite immature at times, but she certainly had her moments too.

Enjoyable
A best friend’s little brother romance, which could be considered a ‘friends to lovers’ story since our pair have been on the periphery of each other’s lives for years.I’ve read some of the more negative reviews for ‘Schooled’ but I have to disagree. I enjoyed this book. I liked watching the relationship between Lexi and Dylan change and grow. Lexi struggles between loyalty to her friend, Ava, and her growing attraction to Ava’s brother, Dylan. How they start out is a little awkward and clumsy but their attraction isn’t something they can fight for long. Their relationship is realistic, with both of them being confused and making mistakes. It’s oddly endearing at times. So, while it’s an easy read, it’s also a good one that I think any romance reader would enjoy. Happy reading!Note: Book three of the series shows the continuation of their story and we get to witness it from both of their perspectives.

Nice
The book started off really great... The emotions and tension at the start were brilliant. It continued to be a good read but I felt the rest of the book didn't quite blow me away as I thought it would. There could have been more tension and drama. But overall I enjoyed it
