Supertolles Songbook mit exzellentem Cover & 14 Maiden-Klassiker der 80er drinnen. Transkriptionen sind übersichtlich gestaltet, wenn auch die Kritik der Rezensenten-Kollegen an manch Solo-Geschrubbe berechtigt ist. Überdies hätte man die Lyrics einzelner Songs (die wohl eh jeder Fan ohnehin in- und auswendig kennt) auch ans Ende packen können, um das Ganze etwas übersichtlich-kompakter zu gestalten (etwa bei Aces High). Ansonsten nix auszusetzen... bis auf die Tatsache, dass natürlich Seventh Son-Transkription fehlt - aber die Best Of-Songauswahl der Briten betreffend hat wohl jeder Fan so seine Favoriten ;-)PS: Warum der Titel Best Of 1980-1989 gewählt wurde - das letzte 80er Album Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son ist aus dem Jahre 1988 - entzieht sich meiner Kenntnis.
