I own a micro-farm where we grow a combination of livestock and produce, so we used to battle flies throughout the warms months. Now, with the use of these decals, our house stays fly free. We apply them twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall. Even when a big rain comes and the flies try to hide in the house, within a few hours they have all found the baits - and then died! The decals are a bit cumbersome to apply because Ortho did not design the decals quite right, but once you get them applied there is no question about their effectiveness. I also love the fact that they stay clean and unnoticeable throughout the entire six months. With sticky fly traps, you always have to balance the cost of the constant replacement with the gross eyesore of a patch of trapped flies on your window. With these, you get rid of the flies through normal dusting, sweeping, or vacuuming - the stuff you do every day anyway.

Flies that come near these die within a minute or 2, no exaggeration. And within inches of where they are placed so cleanup is easy.

This is the best product to rid your house of flies ever!! I've used them for years. When I had a small goat farm it was the only thing that kept the flies at bay. Stick one in the window at the beginning of fly season and it worked until the weather turned cold again. If I had known I couldn't get it this year I wouldn't have given my last package away last year. Bring it back!!!

So easy to apply. They work amazingly well! I buy a fresh supply every year but the ones I put up last year are still working. I put one on the outside of the patio door as well and no more flies lying in wait for me to let them in. Surprisingly even more satisfying than thwacking them with a swatter. And less messy.

I’ve reviewed these before but every summer when I purchase more I’m so glad they still exist. We live on 10 acres in the country and are surrounded by neighbors who have sheep, cows, lamas and horses. Because of that the fly population is enormous. No matter how rigid we are about keeping doors and windows closed we end up with a plethora of flies all summer long. These fly stickers are the best thing I’ve found to combat the invasion. They easily stick on windows and are not easily noticed by humans but flies are attracted to them, land on them, have a taste and are dead within minutes. You can actually watch the whole process take place. The only drawback is that it kills so many flies that I have to vacuum the fly carcass’ that pile up in the window sill. Small price to pay. These seem a little spendy upfront but they last an entire season and are well worth the investment.

I bought these to address a problem with flies coming into the house (cluster flies we believe). The flies were not attracted to the bait. I have sticky strips located in the vicinity that were much more effective at catching the flies (but gross). The application of the decal is tricky and the instructions aren't particularly clear. Pulling off the window side paper is not intuitive, but workable once you get the hang of it. I'm disappointed I didn't get the results I was hoping for. Perhaps the bait is effective for some fly species and not others?

Kinda works. But have to have blinds open. Which It is really hot. I have seen a few flies die but not what I expected from other reviews.

Thanks to a ridiculous amount of rain so far this year, I had hundreds of house flies suddenly come in from the grassy ravine behind my house which has now become a swamp. The sticky fly paper got rid of a few, but not enough. These had good reviews so I decided to give it a shot. Wow! My windowsills look like King's Landing after Danaerys and Drogon laid waste to it-dead flies as far as the eye can see, and I've only had them up for a day! This morning I only saw five or six flies still alive in the house.Update: there were hundreds of flies in my house on Wednesday when I put these up. It’s Friday, and there are zero flies in my house. Color me amazed! 14/10, would buy again.

I have to say I found these very expensive at $24 for two straps. We have a cottage that has nesting flies and cannot figure out where they are coming from, but after applying a strip to each of two windows, one upstairs and one down, the flies are dropping like ... you guessed it ... dropping like flies.

save your money this product does not work.
