Kichler15423BKT Eclipse Path & Spread 1-Light 12V, Textured Black

All my landscape lighting is Kichler. My biggest complaint would be the sockets they use to hold the bulb must not be UV resistant as the become brittle over time and will break. Also the contacts in the socket corrode and don't connect as well as they should. I have started packing the socket with dielectric grease to see if that will help maintain the socket.This purchase was to replace a light I hit with my snowblower and broke and to add an additional pathway light. All the older (10 years) lights were incandescent bulbs and we used to by them buy the box because we were replacing them so often (PIA!) they would also get dim over time so some would be bright and some would be dim. I started to replace them all when one would go bad to keep the lighting more even. We have converted all of them to LED from superbrightled.com and these new pathway lights we purchase are LED. The converted lights have been great for 6-8 months of trouble free operation, much longer than the incandescent bulbs were lasting. We will see how the new Kichler pathway lights with their LEDs last as they have been in for a couple months.My only complaint is the sockets. For the money and for an outdoor light fixture, you would think there would be a better socket to use.

A little pricey but well worth it. We bought 2 to light up the top of our stairs and they work great. Product looks great too.
