Workmanlike
Cheep as chips! If you need a 5/6/7/8 speed front double derailleur for a road/hybrid bike your options are quite limited. This mech is at the budget end of the options, no fancy materials, finishes or looks, just bent steel painted black. Its not pretty, thats for sure but it works, its fairly robust and it'll fit most steel and aluminium frames (maybe CF and Ti too but why would you?). Will work with practically any shifter system, friction levers, twist grip, bar end, flat bar or Sti.for:cheaprobustmulti sized fitagin:heavyugly as sinchain needs to be split to fitdid i mention that looks aren't its strong point?

Incorrectly advertised
The product shown is a Shimano 2 by 7 speed (FD-A070A) not a 3 by 7 speed front derailleur. I bought this product thinking it was a 3 by 7 speed front derailleur. Since, it was advertised incorrectly i had to return it. However, if you need a 2 by 7 speed front derailleur then this product will do you well.

Nice but had doggy screw which snapped when mounting to frame.
Added to bike and screw snapped straight away. May have had a bad one. Otherwise nice item. Didn't reorder as needed to get bike ready.
