This first image is from my 6th floor apartment, through a dirty window, with a screen on it. Both images were taken with a Canon 6D MK II, the KENKO 1.4, and the Canon EF-s 55-250mm. Yes, EF-s. With the adapter having mounts for both EF and EF-s you can use both with no issues. At least I haven't had any yet. Before you spout off about damaging the mirror, this is an adapter. You are not connecting an EF-s lens directly to the camera body. It sits between the body and and the lens. There is no danger of your EF-s lens, when using this adapter, harming your mirror on your camera. That is the reason I purchased this specific adapter, it is the ONLY x1.4 teleconverter that has the mounts for both EF and EF-s. This gives you a very budget friendly way to move from APS-C camera's (Like the Canon Rebel, Kiss, or XTi) to a full frame. I cannot say enough good things about this product.

++ sehr gute Bildqualität (APS-C)+ Autofokus funktioniert einwandfrei (4.0 EF-Objektiv)+ klein und leichtO Bilder etwas dunkler als ohne KonverterIch setze den Kenko 1,4fach Konverter mit einer Canon EOS 77d und einem Canon 70-200 4.0 L IS USM-Objektiv ein. In dieser Kombination funktioniert der Konverter sehr gut und fehlerfrei. Die Verbindung Kamera-Konverter-Objektiv sitzt fest und wackelt nicht.Der Autofokus arbeitet problemlos. Die Bilder sind scharf und deutlich besser als entsprechende Ausschnittsvergrößerungen ohne Konverter. Sie scheinen allerdings etwas dunkler zu sein. Das lässt sich in der Nachbearbeitung beheben.Für den 1,4fach-Konverter habe ich mich entschieden, da die Bildqualität laut Testberichten erheblich besser als die Bildqualität von 2fach-Konvertern sein soll. Zudem "schluckt" der 2fach-Konverter zwei Blendenstufen, womit der Autofokus an meinem Objektiv beeinträchtigt werden könnte.Auch der 1.4fach-Konverter schluckt eine Blendenstufe. Canon garantiert die fehlerfreie Funktion des Autofokus nur bis Blende 5.6. D.h. mit gängigen Objektiven wie z.B. dem 55-250 EF-S oder 70-300 IS USM kann es zu Beeinträchtigungen im Autofokus kommen (aus Blende 5.6 wird iVm. dem 1.4-Konverter Blende 8).

Fits my Canon EOS 700D and EF-S 55-250mm lens perfectly. Autofocus works fine. Build quality is also good. Good choice if one wants a cheap alternative to increase focal length, though minimum aperture increases but can be managed as effect is only 1 stop for 1.4X teleconverter.
