Oh my!
I loved these two! And what an interesting extended family dynamic... they are there for each other. So much adventure and intrigue! And what a gift at the end! Only for the books, though!

Fabulous trilogy!! DO MORE!!!
To think that our Ms. Sanders was reluctant to do a trilogy involving the same characters throughout... Shame on you for doubting your abilities to write a damn, fine tale!! I'm tired of writers thinking that once two characters have finally admitted to each other that they love each other, that's the end of the story! No more about these main characters now because it could only go downhill from there. Bullsh*t!! I loved the development towards a greater intimacy which is hard to write in the first place, but I have discovered a secret in how to make it work in stories. Love and romance is what leads up to that moment of "I love you!". It's what happens afterwards as that relationship grows is how intimacy is introduced and grows. Love and romance is very biochemical, based on pheromones and compatible chemistry whereas the strengthening of said relationship and what keeps that relationship going is the emergence of intimacy. That's why it' s hard to write about and seldom seen in literature. (I'm going through my brain right now, thinking about all the stories I've read in the past eighteen months, and sure enough, all the great moments of intimacy was hard-earned in prior existing relationships.)And this book demonstrates how intimacy cements the motioning bonds between Terri and Veral. As I look back on all the books I've read ever since SJ Sanders has written, I am very pleased to seen the progression of her maturation in writing, this trilogy demonstrating such improvement. And I am so very proud of her. Oh, I could go on and on about how much I enjoyed reading this book, but I'd be boring people. I read her "author's note" at the end of this novel and was very surprised by her anxiety towards trilogies. Ms. Sanders is a fantastic storyteller. I should know. I bought all her books. Sure, I could have gotten freebies, but I fully support her authorship and wish to bribe her in writing more!! And I'm talking about more trilogies!! As for her funny reference to Peter Pan, you're ONLY going to devote a novella to Azan and Wendy?? You've got to be kidding me! I was expecting at least a novel if not a trilogy! There's so much that could be going on! We readers want to read trilogies when we come across characters we really like. And I only hope we get to read about Terri's and Veral's offspring in the future. So much can be done with such a great set-up. I want to be part of that revolution!!

Hope Veral & Terri actually get a vacation after this!
This was a good ending to Veral and Terri’s story. SJ Sanders always creates the most unique settings and cultures and she never fails at making them fantastic in their own way. I totally wasn’t expecting the antagonist to be who it was and I actually enjoyed being surprised. One detail that I thoroughly enjoy is Veral’s and other Argurmas’ speech pattern. Sanders kept that consistent throughout all 3 books and I’m impressed. It was a little less robotic in this book, but it’s still about the same.Concerned Veral decided to take Terri to his home world as a precaution for their (at the time) unborn offspring. There, someone attempts to kill Terri at random, almost well-calculated incidents. The symbiont on Terri’s arm actually has more scenes now that she’s trying to learn how to control it. Krono, unfortunately, doesn’t get a whole lot of page time as I’d hoped since he’s supposed to be closely bonded to Veral. Same goes for the other dorashnals. There were a couple explanations stating that they usually kept confined to living quarters. I guess having them around constantly would’ve cut all the fight/dangerous scenes short. The only issues I encountered were about consistency, which were very minor. For example, Terri’s eye color (blue or brown), name of the ship (The Wanderer or the Wanderer), correct term of great-grandmother (far-grandmother or great grandmother), and suspicious merchant (killed in the market or in the holding cell). There were a few grammar mistakes (accept vs except, has vs have, female’s vs female), but nothing that distracted me from the story. Off tangent notes: Sanders uses “snap” a lot, sometimes on every page or every few pages. It just seemed excessive to me. And for Sanders’ note at the end, I think she meant to say “Tarik” instead of “Tarak”...unless she’s going to change the name spelling for his story.I do hope to see the other Argurma males - Larth, Dreth, Tarik - get their own story. They seem like endearing males, especially Larth. Maybe Veral and Terri will make small appearances.Overall, I have enjoyed this series and the “adventures” that somewhat plague Veral and Terri. 😂 The climax for this book doesn’t come until the very end, so it’s a bit slow. The separation issue between the main characters wasn’t that important to me and not logical. Argurma are logical thinkers and are mostly open communicators. Still, this was a good series and I wouldn’t mind re-visiting them. 👍

And baby makes three
Terri is suddenly getting bigger than normal for an Argurma gestation so Veral makes the decision to go home to a physician who knows Argurumal physiology. This causes all sorts of violent issues.

An exciting series of adventure, love and world building
This was a great series of three books featuring the same couple. It was full of adventure and a lovely romance, it just kept me glued to the book to see what would happen next. S. J. Saunders is an accomplished storyteller with an amazing imagination and world building abilities. I have read just about all of her books and they are always diverse and interesting, drawing you in so you can’t put down the book. Another successful series! Well worth reading.
