What a bargain
Bought this for work after my old keyboard needed mashing to get some keys to work. I was going to buy the same keyboard as at home, a Cougar Attack X3 RGB Speedy. However I spotted this and thought I'd give it a go. I prefer the Cherry MX silver to the Kailh Red, but there isn't much difference. I originally went for Cherry MX silvers on my Cougar to see if they help with RSI and they did. These Kailh Red were also more comfortable to use than the old membrane keyboard.Key caps are standard and replaceable. I've started to add some o-rings to reduce the noise. I don't think the key switches are hot swappable. I tried with a little force and they didn't budge, so most likely soldered.I don't need/want the RGB, but I find a low white backlight is nice. Unfortunately I can't get a white out of the RGB, it just looks blue. Picked an orange colour, which is fine. You can also turn off the light pipes at the front and corners, which is great. When I bought this it was only £17.73, next day it was at £69.99. At almost £70 I'd go for the Cougar (can be found for £50-£55), but if this is on offer, you can't go wrong. If I'd have paid £70, I'd likely return it and get the Cougar. Still neither as good as a C64 Keyboard (showing my age).
