Classic Sourdough Paperback – March 10, 2021

I struggled for a month trying to make sourdough before I used this book! It was so simple and easy to follow that I was able to make a beautiful loaf the first time! I also appreciated the videos for those that are visual learners!

I feel so blessed to have found this Sourdough cookbook. I've been making Sourdough for several years trying so many recipes. None ever came out perfect and always left me overwhelmed searching for new ones. Finally i have been successful making one recipe after the other from this book. All very addictive recipes written in step details all the way to using a thermometer for exact doneness temperature on english muffins. Aside from perfect bread and english muffins, i made the coffee cake, crackers we used for soup, choc chip cookies, pretzels, pizza, best banana bread, sandwich bread. I am on a roll to finish every recipe in this book. So far everything i have made from this book has given me high end delicious addictive results without feeling overwhelmed. On the first recipe i was making, i sent her a Instagram message question that to my surprise she quickly answered as i was assembling my ingredients. Lori is a creative passionate WOW. And now she has added her sourdough donut recipe to the book for anyone who has bought or will buy the book. I just received mine in an email, and can't wait to make them. Finally healthy donuts with probiotics.

This book by far knocks all others out of the park! I require all the people at my classes to buy this book because it is such an informative and helpful book, it is what helped me succeed! Seriously you won’t go wrong!!

I have been making sourdough bread for the past two months now with a friend's recipe and although it has come out fine, it has never been amazing. I got Lori's book and I followed all of her steps and tips and this time my sourdough came out AMAZING! The best I have ever made!

I had been trying my hand at sourdough bread for a few months…the loaves of bread did not meet my expectations. I decided to try a new book…Classic Sourdough was my choice. So happy I decided on this book. I follow the author’s instructions, measure by the weight (grams) and perfect, beautiful, DELICIOUS bread!! I even double the recipe and make 2 loaves each time. Freezes great!Thank you Lori Vaughn for writing the best sourdough cookbook.

This sourdough recipe book is fantastic! It is perfect for beginners as it gives you easy step by step instructions (which is SO needed when starting sourdough). I love all the timetables for helping you know when to start and when it'll be done (which again, is so helpful for beginners). I love making the crackers with my discard, it's really the perfect recipe when you don't know what to do with your discard.

This book is amazing. It’s males the process of sourdough so easy and simple. I’ve had the book for about a month and I now make a weekly loaf for my family and have made 8 of the other recipes so far and they do not disappoint. The cookies recipe is my family’s favorite. We now keep a bag of dough stashed in the freezer and bake a cookie or two on command. I highly recommend this book of your hesitant of the whole process. These recipes are simple and easy steps.

I knew when ordering that this book was a paperback but the quality of the outer cover and amount of written material doesn't line up with the price of over $20. The font is large print which you'll appreciate but that also means there isn't a lot of information because the book is already pretty thin. That being said, if you're an absolute beginner, this is a good book for you because it explains the basics very well.
