Q: Instructions are not specific to model. Is there only ONE screw that holds the heavy Cast Burner and hose to the stand???

If I recall correctly, its not a small single screw, but more of a threaded end on the burner that mounts through the stand and a larger nut attaches it to the stand. It is very secure and since anything you place on top of it gets its weight distributed over the metal grates.

Q: At what heat level does the soot issue start to fade ??

I have used this on my stainless boil kettles for 3 years now. I do not have a soot issue.

Q: Can this be used with a 12-18" wok?

Our wok is about 14" in diameter and 3.75" tall. Our wok's rim just touch the side fences. If your wok is taller than ours then it might fit too. Great burner. We have had our for about three years. The burner is showing signs of rust but the rust does not impede the flame. We live about 300 feet from the ocean.

Q: Is the hose set up for a 20lb. cylinder?

The hose will attach to a 20 pound cylinder.
