The local hardware store did not have the appropriate gasket for my toilet. After trying one they had that didn't work I ordered this one. It worked out. I also liked the fact that there were nuts included to lock the nuts into the tank. Then the nuts to fasten it to the bowl could be tightened without having to secure the bolt in the tank.

Easy to apply and all that was needed was provided.

After getting 3 different toilet gaskets, I finally purchased this one. And it works like a dream. My only real issues is minor I would have liked 8 of the small rubber o-rings so I don't have to tighten nuts onto porcelain, but to actually find a gasket that works I can settle and get the o-rings myself. Honestly may buy another since finding this part ended up being such a chore.

If your toilet looks like the toilet in the attached picture (regardless of the color), it's a Gerber Model 28-299. You will want to use this DANCO Tank to Bowl Toilet Repair Kit and NOT a universal tank-to-bowl kit for a couple of reasons...1st is the BOLTS in the DANCO kit are much thicker and a better quality than the standard universal kits.2nd is the Tank to Bowl Gasket is THICKER than the standard universal kits in the big-box retail stores. This thicker/taller gasket is necessary due to the recessed nature of the design and to properly prevent any chance of leaking between the tank and bowl pieces.The downside to this kit is they do not come assembled with the lock-washers as indicated on the product card. I took a chance and assembled the toilet as instructed but without the lock-washers and am still very happy with the results. Everything is tight, water-tight, and sturdy.Note: When mounting the tank to the hopper, be sure to get the tank bolts tight enough to compress that thick gasket between the tank and the hopper until the bottom of the tank is resting on the top of the back of the hopper. Best Practice is to have someone steady and press down on the tank as another is tightening the nuts on the tank bolts under the hopper. Tighten each side a little at a time being sure to alternate sides until the tank is tight on the hopper (this allows for near equal pressure on each side). And remember, over-tightening the nuts can crack the porcelain - and thats a bad day.All in all, this kit is worth every penny, and if you are wanting the lock-washers be sure to purchase them separately.
