Even when washed in cool water, these pants release black dye into the wash water. So only wash them with other black clothing. It’s a high quality, well-made item, and very comfortable to wear. The fabric is thick, so they’re best worn in cool weather. As others have said, they’re a bit too long.

Great fit with elastic & tie waist.

These are so comforable soft and a great wear for in the gym or daily. I will order a cpl more pairs. I highly recommend them.

Fit: Larger than expected.I'm 6'2" and typically wear anything between 36/32 and 38/32 depending on brand and particular pants cut. XL in these sweat pants were too large in everyway - loose in waist, long in length.I spent some time trying to find an 80% or higher pair of sweat pants to replace my aging pair from Puma (which I have loved and lasted for years). Most have shifted to a lower cotton amount, going higher on polyester in the blend. I assume this is cost related, but that is purely an assumption.That all being said, I specifically purchased this pair from Russel as the listed stated 80% cotton and 20% polyester for all of the colors. I see now, at the time of leaving this review, they have updated the listings for each color - all with differing blend percentages. The dark grey is now listed correctly, at 66% cotton / 34% polyester, but is sadly not what I thought I was receiving.If the cotton/polyester blend is an item of interest/concern to you, please pay attention to what the new information states.

These are well made (good stitching, quality material with a nice waistband). The material is definitely thicker than the majority of todays sweatpants which is a big plus for me - warmer and last longer. Add to this a competitive price and its all thumbs up.

I bought 2 pr of these pants in XL for my healthcare client who said he was 6'2". He's 101 years old. I measured him and he had shrunk to 5'10". The pants were about 3" too long, so I washed them in hot water and dried on cotton setting. They shrunk about an inch, so I had to shorten them 2". I didn't notice any shrinkage in the waist. Otherwise, they are great quality. He has gained weight in his stomach/waist, and the waist size on the pants is perfect. That's the reason we had to go up to a larger size. He's not overweight. I didn't measure the waist, sorry. He weighs 185. They wash up nicely and don't shed or pill. They are pricy, but you get what you pay for. Hope this helps.
